Did anyone try to book any fast passes since Disney opened this up to good neighbor hotels? It looks like this option opened up on 12/28/17 and I'm wondering if anyone tried booking FPs at the 60 day mark yet.

We are staying on the grounds in May and I was hoping to get FOP FPs, but now I'm wondering if this will be possible. :worried: I know there are several posts about this change and my question is related to the change in FP+ availability at 60 days since they opened this up to other hotels.

No one has attempted this because it begins on the 10th, tomorrow for DS Hotels.

Guests staying at these hotel sites will be able to link their hotel reservation numbers in MDX tomorrow. This info was provided by a Disney CM and has been posted in the Orlando Hotel Board.

I thought it was only Disney Springs hotels that were. Is there a list of the non Disney Springs good neighbor hotels that are going to be participating? This addition could be the reason for me to switch. There were a few good neighbor hotels that I liked more than the DS ones.

The terminology being used has been a bit confusing. Good Neighbor Hotels is too broad. Disney Springs Hotels is a better term. There are still zero hotels outside the "walls" of WDW that have been included in these benefits.

@msb578 thanks totally wishful thinking after reading a few post that referred to the Good Neighbor Hotels :) if it was extended I'd stay at the Hyatt Place in a heartbeat for the points and for cheaper and more spacious accommodations. Disney Spring hotels are fine but with the resort fees and parking fees at the hotel and the parks, not sure if there's much benefit unless I can get a really good deal from Mousesavers.

Not able to link my B resort reservation yet. The Disney spring hotels are not showing in the drop down list for linking yet. I tried just after 7

Related question: We are staying at the B Resort for a wedding in June and plan to visit the parks too. Do I need to book the hotel through Disney in order to get the 60 day FastPass window? We have a group rate for the wedding so would prefer to book direct with the hotel if possible.
