Today was 60 days out from our upcoming CSR GDT stay in June. I got up a few minutes before 6 AM Eastern time and it would not let me in until 6 AM on the nose. It was easy to get reservations 10 days into my trip, but things became more challenging at about 4 days into my trip (so 64 days from now). If you're only staying 5 days, I can see how reservations would be a challenge.
Also, the web page is full of bugs. Sometimes the page would time out, often times I would get a "can not search right now" or "no options available" (I'm paraphrasing) from the main search page, but if I clicked on the restaurant of interest and selected "Check Availability" from the restaurant page, it always worked (except for those few hard to get ones early in my trip). So about halfway through making 11 days worth of reservations, stopped doing a park or resort "search" and just clicked on restaurant names and went searching for specific dates/times -- that method worked really well.
To corroborate some of the advice I've seen on these pages:
1. I was able to call Yak and Yeti directly for the 2nd day of my trip when the WDW site didn't show availability and get a reservation at my preferred time with my Landry's Select Club number.
2. I'm eating at Disney Springs the first several evenings of our trip because those reservations are, indeed, easier to get. Luckily, our plans have me going there Monday through Thursday nights in our first week, so hopefully it isn't weekend level crowds there.
Wishing everyone luck in getting their reservations selections!!!
