I Officially finish work 6 weeks on Friday and make our way to Manchester on the 15th September to fly to MCO with Thomas Cook for our 13 night Orlando stay, 1 night Miami stay, 4 night Bahamas cruise with Royal Caribbean, 1 night Orlando stay and then fly back home.

This is literally our once in a life time dream holiday, DBF is 22 and I 21.

We have been working our pants off for the past year or so for this and I can't believe it is creeping around!

We have all the park tickets for Disney, Universal, we also have the swim at discovery cove, Busch gardens & Sea world.

It's going to be such a jam packed holiday and I don't think I'm prepared to how tired we are going to be, but also I'm hoping the excitement of everything will just keep me going.

I'm starting to feel the holiday feeling now!

Anyone else there when we are and if so what's your plans/who you flying with/how you found planning?

Beth :-)

We fly out on the 20th, two weeks at the dolphin. Can not wait!! I'm 33 now, think I started going with my (now) wife at about your age. We also used to say its a dream once in a lifetime trip, but have somehow made it almost every year since! So fingers crossed you'll be back soon. Bet you're unbearably excited!

Where are you staying in Orlando?

And yes, I'm sure the buzz of everything will keep you wide awake. We're flying ba, first time for us. We usually go virgin.

We fly out 6 weeks yesterday (9th Sept) from Manchester.

We are staying on International drive for 2 weeks then 2 weeks at Coronado springs

I'm so excited, its all I can think about

I remember going on our once in a lifetime disney holiday when we were in our early twenties, I was as excited as a child on Christmas Eve! We are off on our eighth once in a lifetime trip in two weeks time ;-) It's slightly addictive I think you will find! Enjoy every minute.

We are staying on I drive in the Rosen Inn (used to be quality inn) we're figured we are gong to me out most of the days and just use it as a base.

I'm so excited I literally can't think about anything else!!

we fly out 16th sept from gatwick for 3 weeks at a villa, 3 nights in between we're going on our first disney cruise (the kids dont know that part yet!!pixiedust:) our 'once in a lifetime' trip was 8 years ago, we've been every year since.... florida-itis will make sure you get there somehow everytime... nowhere else compares!:thumbsup2

We fly out on the 20th September, it has crept round so fast for us!

It's mine and 3 kids (7,6 & 1) first time but DHs 5th and his folks and sister are coming too :)

We're staying offsite (villa), which tbh I wouldn't have chosen if it was just us going (I'd have picked an onsite hotel) , but I am starting to get excited now, regardless of where we're staying!

Our WDW tickets came yesterday, I've linked them to my MDE and have logged on just to look at them on there a good few times already :goodvibes

We fly 4 weeks Sunday. We had our holiday of a lifetime in 1997. Here we are 17 years later and have been 18 times. So lucky !!

Wow! You all sound so lucky enough to have gone back, I defiantly know it won't be something where are going to do again in the near future as we are currently renting so buying our own house will defiantly be the next thing, as daft as it sounds, the amounts this holiday has cost us we could have easily put a deposit down on a house in the area we live in!

Bits that's mainly the reason we wanted to do this now, while we have the money :-)

You guys are gonna absolutely LOVE it !!!!:cheer2: We're not going til October
but have been busy planning for the last year :) Its half the fun :)

We stayed at the Rosen Inn back when it was the QI and it was fine. It's comfy and clean - what more do you really need ?

You will start to feel tired eventually but the excitement takes over pretty quickly lol !!

We fly 8th September on the 1pm Virgin fight from gatwick we staying at the rosen inn at point Orlando we there for 4 weeks on our honeymoon. :)

We fly out on 18th September from Manchester with Virgin. We are so looking forward to it as it will be our DD2 first time and first time as a family so planning this time around has been different for us as we will have to take it as it comes more.

You will have a fabulous time xx

I'm so excited we were 6 weeks Saturday and as we were waiting to watch Lion King at the Mayflower Southampton I was like this time in 6 week we will actually be at Pop. All seemed a bit real then and now I can't stop thinking about hols.

Hoping that doing holiday stuff and generally being busy will help the next 6 weeks go quickly
