Hi everyone!!
(Hey!! Where's the happy grinning smiley gone?
)
I'm back from DLP!! I had an absolutely brilliant time
I was going to write trip reports, but I'm lazy, so I'm just going to stick a load of my best memories down here.
I managed to break my nose within an hour of getting to the parks. (Don't ask how I did it, its a pretty embarassing story
) Owww........
I somehow managed to go to DLP in a week of technical failures. We didn't get any music on RnRC, the afternoon parade broke down, Tinkerbell didn't fly during the fireworks, the magic carpets didn't move, and Peter Pan exloded. Wow, it was all happening while I was there. (Actually, I'm very proud that Peter Pan decided to explode while I was there. Expect me to talk about it a lot for the next few weeks. It truly wasy moment of glory
)
The Disney Studios is a lovely little park. I don't understand all the criticism it's getting. There were some really great attractions there, it was all really pretty. Oh, except I got stuck under the Singing in the Rain umbrella. I was just standing there having my photo taken, with all this water coming down, and the water didn't stop!!
It was a cold, cold day, so I was going to get wet, so I just had to stand there for about 5 minutes waiting for it to stop
The weather was pretty bad the whole time, I had to wear my bright yellow ponch more than once
Because it was raining the whole time, I packed my sunblock right at the bottom of my suitcase when I went to Amions yesterday. Quelle probleme! The sun decided to make an appearance, and now my skin is this colour
I've had so little sleep over the last few days. We had to have breakfast at 7, which meant getting up at 6, and we normally got back from the parks around midnight
I need sleep......
I had so much more to write here, but my mind's gone completely blank
Typical...... I know I'll think of something I left out as soon as I hit 'send', so stand by for more updates from me.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some serious posting to do
