6 Flag New England Annual Passes

Although this is not "Disney" related, I thought I'd post this on the budget board. Although we will be at WDW in May and again in Aug., I'm considering buying 6 Flag annual passes for the the spring/summer months to have something to do with the kids when we can't be at Disney. Single day admission is $41.99 and the online offer is for the annual pass is $54.99 each if you buy 4 or more. If we go at least twice we've more than covered our money.

Does anyone know where I can get the best price on 6 Flag annual passes? Not sure if I can get them cheaper through Shaws, Big Y or AAA. Thanks!

If you will be going to New England park in MA, you can go online and put in the code bkfree you can get the season pass for 54.99 (you only save with this card if you buying three or less passes). However if you use this code and buy before middle of april you get a free pass for a friend to go with you during spring break.

In years past, we got a coupon book with our AP that included a number of free companion passes (like one per minth). If we had just used those, we easily could have saved over buying two AP's for how much we used them, but that depends on how much you plan on going.

I have bought a 6 flags pass for my DD for the past three years. If you activate (which involves going to the park) early, there's usually an "extra" bring a friend free coupon. However, even without that, the coupon book you get when you activate usually includes a couple bring a friend free (BAFF) coupons and a couple bring a friend for $10 coupons. These coupons cannot be used weekends - except for the one to be used during a particular weekend in Sept. Last year the BAFF was a week in June and a week in late August - and the weekend one for Sept I remember it's sometimes borderline on whether school is out or not on the midweek summer ones. THe BAF$10 was midweek during a week in July - can't remember which one. They also give you a few food coupons. If you were a family of four and just wanted to go a couple times, I'd buy two season passes and plan to go during the BAFF weeks, Then all four of you can go twice for about $120. Some companies also have corporate consigment purchasing. I know our company does, so we can buy a season pass for $54.99 anytime up until around 7/4 and don't have to buy the 4 pack to get that price.

I'm in California, and have had 6 Flags passes for about 4 years now. The only discounts I've seen have been a renewal discount, have to purchase by Jan 31, which basically gives you the same prices as you'd get if you bought 4 or more. A few times, the local Albertsons and Longs stores carried them as well. But again, the discount only allowed you to get the same price as if you were buying 4.
