6 days entry - ticket question

We will be at Disneyland for 6 days in November and would like to attend all 6 days. We will be there from a Sunday to next Friday. I know there are only 5-day-tickets available, so we need an extra 1-day ticket.
Because of the variable day-prices it would be a lot cheaper to buy the 1-day ticket on a Tuesday or Wednesday in the middle our trip instead on the first day (Sunday) oder last day (Friday). But can we use a 1-day ticket on the Wednesday between our days, when we also have a 5-days ticket for Sunday till Friday?! Or will the app always count the used multi-day-ticket?

I would create an entirely different account on a separate phone, and add the single day ticket to that account, so there no chance of any confusion.

Coming up we have a trip with a combination of MK days and park hopper days (when MK is blocked out). We made the park reservations on the appropriate tickets. It’s pretty easy to see the various tickets we have available to us in the park reservation system. I think as long as you are careful about the park reservations and using the right tickets upon entry you should be fine. The park shouldn’t default to the five-day ticket if there isn’t a park reservation associated with it for that day.

It will be up to you to make reservations with the correct ticket. I would name the ticket differently (Wed Shin or something like that.). If you don't have a reservation on Wed on the 5 day ticket, it won't let you use it.
