We'll be on the 6-day Wonder MR cruise in January.

What are the dining rotations on a 6-day cruise? Anyone have any insight? I'm hoping to figure out when Pirate night is and which nights are the dining room repeats, so we can book Palo-- in just a few days!

With 3 sea days, do you think there'll be a character breakfast?

(If I call DCL, will they tell me? Or, what do I need to ask them to get this information?)

TIA!!! :thumbsup2

I'm on the same cruise and I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering! I've tried looking for 6 day navigators, but the 6 day cruises are so rare that its hard to get any idea. I'm guessing (and hoping!) that they'll do character breakfasts based on the 3 sea days, but I have no idea about pirate night.
My guess is that the 6 nights will be Welcome Aboard/rotation dinner, then Golden Mickey's, followed by Toy Story/rotation dinner and Pirate night (or vice versa), then Dreams/Captain's Gala and til We Meet Again/rotation dinner. But of course, that's just a guess. We're not planning on booking Palo, so it doesn't really matter to us, but its fun to speculate. I'd love to hear if anyone knows how to find out more!

Just did 5 night. Rotation was:

PTTAP - pirate night was day 3

I too have been looking for any and all trip reports I can find for 6 night cruises, since we will be on a 6 nighter as well. (Sep 10, 2012, Van to LA pacific cruise)

I've come up with a handful of trip reports and the first one even has pictures of menus and the daily navigators! (thanks and shout out to all of you who have contributed these trip reports for us!!! :cheer2: )

Happy reading!

If it follows the same pattern as this cruise, (these are all trip reports from the same 6 night cruise in April 2011) then formal night will be on the second night, Pirate night will be on the 4th night, and semi-formal will be on the 5th night. However this is not for sure-I did call DCL and they confirmed that there will be all of those special nights on a 6 night cruise but couldn't tell me which nights they would be on for sure since it's still a bit too far in advance (for my cruise, that is-- you could try calling about your cruise?) i didn't ask about character breakfast, but I'm pretty sure there was one on the cruise in these TRs.

Also, from what I'm understanding, you won't know in advance which nights the dining room will repeat (somebody please correct me if I dont' have the right understanding on this) because everyone gets a different dining rotation. (ie: all Dining rooms are used every night, it just depends which one you are assigned to when) And from what I've seen they don't always follow a predictable 'rotation' (ie: TAPTAP or PTAPTA)...sometimes they are APTTPA or something..(? can someone comfirm I'm right on this?) However, the show in Animators is always done the first night it is in your rotation.

I hope I'm making sense!

:)

As far as the character breakfast goes, I was just on the 5 night repo, and even though there were only 2 sea days, they DID have a character breakfast because we didn't get into port at Ensenada until 12pm, so they were able to do the character breakfast. I thought character breakfasts were only on 7 nights or longer, but this was a 5 night with a character breakfast. So, I'm pretty sure that if you have 3 sea days, you'll DEFINITELY have a character breakfast for sure! :thumbsup2

I called today, and the most recent cruise they have the information for is the Dec 18 2011 cruise, so no luck.

There was literally no information at all--just the CM on the phone's best guesses.

Looking at other MR's, this is my current best guess:
Day 1 rotation
Day 2 formal/golden mickey's
Day 3 rotation
Day 4 rotation
Day 5 pirate
Day 6 till we meet again

Thanks for posting those TR's/navigators-- I will look into those!
