6/9/2005 first time cruise who is going???

Hi everyone we sail in 23 days!!!! I have a question for you guys, Are we or are we not having a Pirate Night on ship? Our friends who just got back from the 4day land 3day ship said they did not have one. Our TA says we do have one. I have surfed some of the other threads and they seem conflicting as well. I may pack a costume and wear it whether we have one or not!!!!! arrrrgh

Dissyblonde - there's been alot of conflicting answers, so I guess we'll just have to pack for it and see what happens.

Okay I'll buy the first round but kevlois buys all the rest!!!!!!! And I am not such a light-weight when on vacations! We just investigated the Pirate Museum on Nassau it looks intersting, (does anyone know anything about it?) we may change our excursion from the Aquarium to "go a pirating"- that way I will have a chance to wear my costume!!! (We folks in New Orleans love to costume!) arrrrrrrrr matey 20 days 'till we sail!

Hi All. I've heard that there is a pirate party Nassau night, followed by fireworks. We've decided to cancel our excursion for Nassau and do some spa time (supposedly the teens can get in that day too...) and maybe just go off ship for a short time and wonder around. Can't wait to sail!

We are still in 5018 with late seating.

We're in 7051 late seating.
We went to Home Depot and got Alien Green Micky heads. We'll be wearing them in our USA badge holders.

We don't have any alien green Mickey Heads but we do have mardi gras beads. Our family will be wearing beads... not sure what kind yet I have to get them out of the attic...but they will be festive! You can spot us by our beads. (oh yeah...and I have blonde hair!)
We sail in 18 days.

I collect hats. Have over 300 and DW loves them I usually get a hat on vacations as souveniers. So I will be wearing my tan 75th anniversary Henry Ford Museum hat from last year until I get my DCL hat. Lorij I don't see a 7051 room. Are you riding in one of the life boats?

DUHHHHH! Sorry, that was supposed to be 7501...
ooooh almost close enough to you to use morse code!

..._ _ ._ _... that is morse code for 7501 keep that noise down. DW laughing at me. Just went and got a hawiaan flowerdy shirt and a lei(check my spelling) to use as a laynard

Oh gee, we'll have to keep that in consideration.....
Hawaiian shirt??? that's all my DH wears. Hmmmm I'll have to check with him to see which Mickey one he will be wearing. Can't wait!!

I just checked our reservation on line and we were moved to Cabin 7076. Still same category but different deck.

Actually, we were upgraded! Went from a category 8 to a 5. That just made my day!

I, along with my DD14 and DS12, will be on the June 9th Wonder. We did the land/sea package and we will be arriving on June 4th at the Poly.

This is our first time cruising. Always wanted to go on cruise since "Love Boat".

OMG, you too! I remember watching the Love Boat almost religously. This is my family's first cruise also. I have planned, and planned, and planned, and planned, and planned till' can't plan no more! So I am now ready to have some fun and remain flexible on the plans so I don't stress the kiddies out. (Type B personality! )

We are in stateroom 6588. Although, I would love to upgrade to a category 3. I don't know what the odds are since I read somewhere that they only have 22 suites and they book well in advance. Oh well, maybe another year!

WELCOME!! Glad to see another cruiser join us! Your young'ns are about the same age as mine, Nittany89's and kevlois' so they should have lots of fun Most of us are new cruisers, so we can explore together.

We are doing the land sea too and are at the POFQ starting Saturday afternoon. (couldn't wait, so we're coming a day early!). DH and I were just discussing yesterday, do we leave at 6am or 4??? I think 4 is winning out, more time for fun in the world!!!

Part of me envies you guys doing land and sea and part of me remembers how tiring and overwelming WDW can be. Oh well, if DW had more vacation time would probably do the land/sea.
