6/7/11 - It's a double dip DREAM!

Also, every time my daughter encounters someone new, she says (in her little 3 year old voice), "Hey! We're going on Mickey's big boat!" :lovestruc

Then she usually invites the person to go with us... :rotfl:

Too cute!

I just found this meet--- and I'm so glad we have such an organized and fun group sailing on June 7. :thumbsup2
It's me, DH and our 14 year old DS.:dance3:
We're parasailing and riding the waverunners at CC and still trying to decide what to do in Atlantis.
Can't wait!!!

Welcome aboard! :welcome:

Will you be joining the FE exchange?

This will be our 3rd Disney cruise but I'm just now discovering DIS, fish extenders and such (husband finally divulged his well-guarded secret)! Can't wait. All of the sudden it doesn't seem so far off...time to get organized! :)

I just registered when I saw this thread so I could post! I'm going with my parents on this cruise and I'm so excited! Do you meet up on the cruise? What is a fish extender? I'm so happy to meet you guys! :goodvibes

Welcome aboard! :welcome:

Fish extender is an organized gift exchange (kind of like a "Secret Santa"). The actual Fish Extender (aka FE) is some sort of pocket thing hanging from the Fish Clip outside the staterooms. More info can be found on the "DCL FAQ" sticky at the top of this forum.

:dance3:
WELCOME! to the group!

I believe we said the cut off for the Fish Extenders was going to be April 7th, two months before. That way the list will be final and everyone can finishup their projects.

We started ours today!!! They are turning out, so far, sooooo cool.:thumbsup2 My daughter is having so much fun making them!

Any changes to the spreadsheet, let me know ASAP! :grouphug:

Should I take those off the spreadsheet that we haven't heard from?:confused3

Are we going to meet up on the ship as a group? Even if it's a quick hi, it would be great to meet everyone!

Make sure to put your lime green Mickey heads on your bags so that we can say hello even on our "unintentional" meetings!!!

Huh? Lime green mickey heads? What is this?!?!?!

A while back, the not-so-official color of the DIS boards became lime green. I don't know if you've ever noticed, but the Disney paint color samples at Home Depot are actually displayed on Mickey heads. Lots of DISers have gone and gotten the lime green colored one and displayed it on something they carry. Over time we have progressed with the help of Cricuts, DISigners and other computer generated graphics, but that's where it all started. Anything that makes us stand out so other DISers notice! :grouphug:

Oh my word - You guys are way too crafty!!!!!! I am seriously developing a complex! :scared1:

So, explain to me exactly what you will do with the green mickey head.

I actually already have that paint sample!!!! My husband forced me to Home Depot the other day and I got a bunch of mickey head samples for my daughter to tote around - and Gamma Sector Green is one of them! It may be more of a Kelly green than lime...

Do you wear these around?! :tinker:

Also, has anyone joined the FB group for this cruise?!

I laminate mine, punch a hole in the corner and use some ribbon to tie it onto my pool bag or my back pack.

LOL KELLY!!!

I think the contact paper, I can handle. Maybe I'll get a lime green bikini.

Which brings me to my unanswered question (are you guys getting sick of my new girl questions????):

have you joined the facebook group for this cruise? No? Well, do it! And then notice I have posted 1000 times on there (slight exaggeration?). I know a couple of people from here have (hey, ladies!!!). Go ahead... I'll wait right here... :wave2:

(another giggle at my expense: I have just discovered the "more" smilies. Can you tell? lol)
