Yes, all the lower category rooms are sold out. We have a cat 8C, hoping to save some money and downgrade. We call disney every couple weeks, but they are all taken at the moment. Good luck.

Hey everyone!

We did indeed end up booking this cruise. It seems the week after posting that we were considering this cruise, all of the inside and ocean view were booked up! We freaked and booked before our Wonder cruise March 4. Luckily, we have been able to find rooms for a few of our friends, after weeks of trying I might add...

In one cabin-
Vina, known by us as Vi.-60's, one of my grandma's best firemds

Johnny-Vi's son 37.

They live in a super small town in Illy, right along the Illy KY boarder

In another cabin-
Jason-43. My mom's friend from highschool. He went with us on our cruise this March. Lives in Oregon.

In the last cabin (for now!lol)
Carmalinda, Carm to us-late 30's?....lol She and the rest of the family live in......drumroll please......EXOTIC CANADA!!!!

She's my mom's long time friend. Her parents are originally from Sicily, so technically she's Italian Canadian. How cool is that?They met in dental hygine school in Illy. They haven't seen each other in 17 years, since graduation, so this cruise is a big deal.
Tom- Carm's husband late 30's maybe early 40's
Luc- 9 at time of cruise
Luigi (lol can't help to think of mario) , goes by Lui -8 at time of cruise

Hey fellow cruisers,

We just got home from the 3 day Wonder on Sunday and I rebooked the June 7 Double Dip for 2011. Can't wait to sail on the Disney Dream. This will be our 4th Disney cruise.

My husband Mario and I will be sailing along with our son Brian who will be 16 at the time of sailing. He hasn't been too thrilled with the teen area on the last couple of cruises so I'm hoping there are other teens he can connect with before the cruise to break the ice.

Can't wait to sail with you all.

We are so excited can't get here soon enough but we will be at Disneyland this June so should help get our Disney fix for a little while..

My sister decided to book on our last cruise about 4 months before the cruise. There were very few cabins available. When we hit the cut off date for being able to cancel without penalty ( can't remember now- is that 70 days? 90 days?) then there were tons of cabins available!

My sister, Gwynn, husband Ken and their 2 boys ( ages 18 and 21) joined us on our last cruise and will be on this one too.

We are so excited that our parents and another sister are joining us too! It will be there first cruise ever! My mom, Mary Lee, will be turning 80 on the cruise! Can't believe she is that old- she sure doesn't seem like it! My boys can't wait to share DCL with Nana and Papa! My sister, Mary Beth, will be sharing a room with them. It's her first cruise ever also! My family and Gwynn's family will already be on board ( we are doing back to back cruises) so I'm very glad my sister will be there to help get my parents on board!

I called my TA not too very long ago asking about upgrading and he told me that this week, either the week before or after, and a week in August were the most popular dates for this cruise. I don't know what that really means for us except that he had nothing available for us to upgrade to (we just wanted a porthole) because it was already booked.

So until then... I can't wait to pass the time with you guys on here. How many days now???

Just checking in- haven't checked our thread since the day
I booked back in Feb- looks like lots of repeat cruisers.

We are winding down school here in GA -only 20 more days.
Wish we were cruising this summer too.

Thanks, Kelly! I've been home for 2 weeks now and I'd give (almost) anything to be back on the ship. I had a great time! The weather was wonderful. It was in the 60s most of the time. We had one day (on the last sea day) of rain and cold. They had big bins of blankets at the adult pool for people to wrap up in. It was funny to see rows of people in loungers by the pool all wrapped up in blankets.

So, I'm just checking in now that I don't have to keep up with my other meets thread every day. Welcome to all the new families! I'm glad to see there will be several 9 yo girls onboard who might be wanting another friend (my DGD). PM or email me if someone might be interested in corresponding. The last time I tried this, it didn't work too well but she was only 7 then. So, we'll see... She does have her own computer now but I don't know if she does email or not. Perfect time to get her started, I think!
