If hey want to jewel it up they can.. it cost the same as if I was going to buy them a black shirt anyways, and the plus it already has the design on there.

Anyone making their own Fish extender?
I am thinking I am going to take a canvas bag and put it up... I have found some cute graphics that we can iron on it ...

I am not a crafty person, the simpler the better is my motto.

I like the pirate shirts! About the FE, I was at Target a few weeks ago. In the dollar section I found a blue tote bag with drawstrings that has a white anchor and chain painted on the front. I added with fabric marker "3 Bells" and stuck on some fabric Mickey Ears. That's our FE, simple and cheap!

I have a confession to make. I chickened out of the Nassau snorkeling excursion and changed it to the Sea and See Tour which I don't think was listed in March. Unlike my DH and DD, I am not the best swimmer. I am extremely comfortable in water if I can touch the bottom with my toes and still have my head above the water. Considering that I am only 5 feet tall that does limit me. Also, I don't think my DD would touch, let alone, put the snorkeling thinguhmabob in her mouth because someone else used it, so she wouldn't be completely thrilled with this excursion. I think we are all better off doing something else.

Thanks for the confession but it really wasn't necessary. I understand about wanting to do things you enjoy and feel comfortable doing them. Heck, that's what a vacation is all about. But it's good to know just in case I kept asking people "Are you Belynda and family?" "Are you?" "How about you?" I can see them all jumping overbaord right now! No seriously, I hope you and your DH and DD enjoy the Sea and See excursion.

My FE is going to be a canvas tote bag with Winnie the Pooh on it and the words "Friends come in all sizes". (Actually my mom left it in the suitcase when she borrowed it for her cruise. Now I get to use it for my cruise.) I might add either my name or room number to it and maybe zip-tie it so it doesn't develop sea-legs.

An elementary school 7 miles from my home now has 3 suspected cases of the swine flu, so the school is being closed for at least a week. These are the first suspected cases in our county which is in Northern California.

Sending good thoughts that everyone is healthy and safe ...

Here is my thought process..

We are a month away.... Awareness is definitely out there, so hopefully it will nipped in the bud. So far no suspected cases in Bahamas. Disney is wonderful with cleanliness.

I will be keeping my eye on the report... but I as of now I am ok with everything.

I am packing my Clorox Wipes that is for sure and we armed with hand sanitizer. I guess the most important thing is prevention. Hand washing, being aware of where you are touching. I am traveling this weekend... I will be wiping down a lot of things, lol.

Great to have another family joining us! Have you posted a prior TR that we could read? Just curious with you cruising DCL several times, are you planning any Nassau excursions?

Make sure you tell Cliff, aka DisneyParkFan, your stateroom number so we know where to find you and your family.

We have done the Magic 6 times including the last 5 Thanksgivings (and this year will make another) and the Wonder last July 4th.

We have done large Disboard groups and small, and we generally do FE's.

As to Nassau, there really is not much there other than Atlantis. Lots of people choose to use the Nassau day as if it were a day at sea even though you are docked. Not sure yet, since Lisa just booked it tonight, whether we will stay on the boat or taxi over to Atlantis for awhile. Truly, we did not find much to buy in Nassau last year.

However, this will be our 12th trip to Castaway Cay - one of the nice things about Thanksgiving 4 of the past 5 years is that it has conflicted w/the Key West regatta, so 4 times the trip was a douple dip at CC. This year, for the first time, Turkey week will be an eastern so no time for the second CC day.

Anyway, nice to see a thread going for this cruise and I am sure we will be frequent contributors. If there are any questions, feel free to ask - cannot promise we know the answer, but, we can try.

Welcome Lisa and Chuck! So good to have another family, and a boy too! I was beginning to think this would be the ship of girls!! And wow, that is a lot of DCL cruises!

As my kids got older we started trying other lines, so now my kids are in love with the NCL Pearl! I imagine it will be easy to adjust back to DCL, but you never know!

Disney is by far the favorite! We cruised Carnival before, b/c we got really great rates..

I did the doc dance last Thursday ... sorta, kinda. What we received was only a "Disney's Magical Express" booklet which has our transport vouchers from port to resort on June 7th. We are flying into FL the evening before the cruise and staying at the Hyatt MCO. Do you know if we get our ME tags for luggage transport to the Wonder when we check in at the Hyatt?

P.S. My father was in the Navy, and we were stationed in Jacksonville and Pensacola in the early '70s. Is Weston close by?
