I have NEVER been on a cruise before.:cool1: This is my first time! Anyone else going?:dance3:

I'm flying solo but I have met up with other Disney fans at WDW, DL, & DLP before. It's fun to meet up with other Disney fans while on vacation.:grouphug:

Anyway, I thought I would give people a place to post their informaton, or any question they have, or when people want to meet up, or even share some rumours or details they found out about their/our upcoming cruise on the Disney Wonder. Just post your information here.pirate:

Okay, I'll go first. I'm Cliff (49), Category 9 Deck 2 Stateroom 2070, 2nd Seating for dinner.

This will be the 3rd Disney Cruise for me, dh, ds, and dd. But it will be the first cruise for our son's girlfriend. We can hardly wait!!! We are in rooms 6084 and 6086, Second Seating for dining.

This will be our second cruise with DCL. Our first one was last June but we went on the 4 day cruise. We had a great time and can't wait to go again. Last year we were lucky enough to hit CC twice! Since they are only offering one stop to CC this year we decided to give the 3 night a try.

Welcome to Time4disney. Looks like we have two seasoned veterans from previous Disney Cruises (including trobert). I'm sure you will have lots of advice for us newbies.:thumbsup2
Speaking of which, today in the mail I received a packet entitled "My Cruise Travel Kit". I am assuming everyone else on the 6/4/09 Disney Wonder Cruise received theirs also? This is great. I can't wait to make my final payment (okay I could wait for that!) and start making my excursions reservations and other pre-cruise items I need to complete. pirate:
It will be here before we know it. :goodvibes

Hello Everyone,

My DH Jonathan, DD Tatiana and I are looking forward to our first ever cruise. We are staying on deck 7, first seating for dinner.

Cliff, thanks for posting all the great links! :thumbsup2 If I may ask, I wanted to know more about the "My Cruise Travel Kit" you received as we haven't received one, yet. Should I call DCL to inquire about it? Thanks!

Belynda,

Thanks for the compliment. I, too, am a first time ever cruiser and wanted to gain as much information as I could for the upcoming trip. I don't know if I am the best person to answer your question about the "My Cruise Travel Kit" but I will share what I received and maybe somone else can be of more help.

In the kit there was a letter listing the dates for DINEY CRUISE LINE PLANNING CALENDAR

21-Mar-2009 : Hassle Free Date : Shore excursions, spa appointments, Palo reservations, and even babysitting can be arranged beginning on this date if your final payment has been made. Younger guests can also be registered for youth activities. You can do it all at www.disneycruise.com pirate:

21-Mar-2009 : Final Payment Deadline Date : While nobody likes a deadline, if you have not already made your final payment, you'll want to make sure your vacation is paid in full on this day. :hourglass

03-Jun-2009 : Vacation Start Date : Hooray! Your vacation starts today. Paradise awaits. :beach:

The actual "My Cruise Travel Kit" contained five "Ship and Shore Vacation Guides"
SHORE EXCURSIONS / 3- AND 4-NIGHT CRUISES : Handy reminders. Sent just before you sail. Glimpses of things to do in the ports. :drive:
QUICK TIPS FOR SMOOTH SAILING : Topics you should begin planning now. :coffee:
GIFTS : Order something special to be waiting in your stateroom. :joker:
SETTING SAIL - DISNEY WONDER : Ship overview, packing tips, travel details and more. :laundy:
VACATION PROTECTION PLAN : All you need to know about Travel Insurance. ::cop:

I hope this helps. I'm guesing it wouldn't hurt if you called DCL to inquire about the travel kit.

Cliff,

That's a lot of great info about the travel kit. Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely be calling DCL!

Only 100 more days until our Disney Wonder cruise!:cheer2:

I got a change in my airline arrival and departure times. Arriving doesn't matter since I will now have the whole afternoon and evening/night to spend in Orlando. I wonder what I can do or where I can go?pirate:

Departing is my main concern now. The airline departure time is now 12:50pm. Okay, those of you who have been Disney cruising before: Will I be abe to eat breakfast in the morning and still be able to disembark and go through customs with plenty of time? Will I still be able to use the onboard airline check-in for my boarding pass? Inquiring minds want to know.:surfweb:

On to a different topic and links. WEATHER!:cool2: Want to know what the weather forecast is for our cruise? Just check out these links as the departure date draws closer:

Well, I can only answer your first question since we drove our own car. Our breakfast time was at 6:30. We left the ship at 7:40 and was in our car 10 minutes later. Hope this answers your question.

Called DCL this morning to make the final payment on the cruise. Looking forward to June 4th.

I made my final payment yesterday on the website. :surfweb: Then I got my final payment reminder in the mail later in the day. :hippie: Got the answers for my flight/breakfast question on the DCL website. :wizard: Flights after 11:25am can use the onboard flight check-in, so it looks okay for me. I am SO LOOKNG FORWARD TO THIS CRUISE!
