6/13/2009 Western on Magic

I have been trying to figure out about how much money I will need for the two week vacation- cruise and a week at WDW. I think it's actually more than the price of the cruise.

The 15th will be here before we know it. I think some of my friends have made plans for that Saturday night (3/14) and I want to just tell them "NO! I have to stay home so I can be online at 12 am EST!" LOL!

Sounds like us. My DW (Texas Disney Fan) has already planned for us to be home that evening and we have notes posted and alarms set on cell phones to remind us an hour before we can start booking!

Passport applications are off! Took FOREVER, but it is done. And the kids smiled perfectly since they knew it was for the Disney cruise.

So, we can actually book stuff 12:00 am on Saturday night, then?

I saw someone said earlier about not getting their children passports. Just to let you know what our TA told us...as of 6/1/09, you must have passports now. I would look in to it, if I were you!

We were told we weren't aloud to smile...our's all look like mug shots! They are terrible!

Well it has been a roller coaster over the last week. Long story but as it stands now, I think my DH will be fine. A couple of weeks of significantly reduced hours but he still will have a job and should go back to getting most of his hours. Thanks for all the well wishes.

I'm glad your DH and your family will be OK- I know it's kind of scary right now to be out there with no job.

(I feel I must apologize for coveting your cruise, I was so jealous for the rates some of you were getting that I couldn't get... but now I am elated!!)

Glad to hear about the jobs situation for everyone that was on the bubble this week.

DW is probably going to lose her school assistant job and we were expecting to hear in the next few day but heard this week it will be sometime in May. We were going to make the final decision on go/no go based on that. Oh Well, since she has a job, I GUESS WE ARE GOING

This has been one of those weeks that all I could do was countdown to 6/13!

With this cruise finding people fast due to some great cat 12 rates, does anyone have a rough count and age distribution for the folks doing the FE. I want to start thinking about what to do, and some idea of who and how many would help me a lot. I like to know what I am getting into before the last minute, I won't necessarily do anything about it until the last minute but at least I know what to expect.

The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry to have a passport, passport card, or other travel document approved by the Department of Homeland Security.

Yes! I will try!!

I did good last time before our cruise.... I started at the 90day mark after booking all my stuff!
I gave up all goodies especially since I knew in just a few months I would be tempted by scrumptious desserts!.... I also did 30min at least 4days a week for workout.... Anyone wanna join me let me know.... I lost 15pounds last time so I need to lose the same 15 again

From the info I have on page 1 - 19 DISers with 46 adults & 36 children
