Actually if you are seated in front because of a GAC you do not need to move to the center. You stay where the CM placces you. So yes your seat is picked. In some shows where I have had an interpreter the CM has asked other guests not to sit in a seat because that is where they will set up the reflective captioning and where the interpreter is placed so he/she is easily seen.

Talking Hands, love your "handle"!!! Just wanted to mention that. I have been dabbling in ASL courses, wanted to become an interpreter (and have an easier time communicating with some new friends, who are Hand Talkers also!)

Also noticed under your handle your "two violists" -- I have one. She feels quite unique, since most kids in her orchestra choose violin or cello.
