5k Family run in Jan

Did anyone do this last year? I'm trying to find out where this run takes place for 2010 and is there transportation from the resorts to the location for this run? My daughter and I are considering signing up for it, but I need more information and can't seem to find it on this run. My DSIL is running the 1/2 maration and there is lots of info available for that. Also, what did you think of it last year?

I'd like to know, too. I'm looking for a goal to get me motivated and back into running and this would be the perfect one if it happens to match up with my January 2010 trip!

I'm going to move this to the Wish board under the event forum. You'll get lots of great answers there. I believe its run at AK and there is transport.

I think that the 2009 race was the same as it was in 2008. In 2008, it was in the AK, and there was indeed transport to and from the course. I'll see if I can find the info pack from the 2009 race.

Sarah: One of the benefits of staying at a Disney resort is that transportation is provided to the weekend events - that includes Expo, 5K, Kids' Races, Half Marathon and Full Marathon. We strongly suggest that you use this transportation instead of trying to drive to the race. There is limited parking and heavy traffic at Epcot. Look for specific times and pick-up locations in your final race instructions closer to the event.
