59 days to go questions?

Hi as you can see we go in 59 days.

Want to phone and book any meals tomorrow.
DH want s me to check with you all a couple of things.

1. do I have to book DLH breakfast for the first day? Want to go there as my birthday treat. DH worried that with it being August you will not be able to just turn up and get in due to them being busy with hotel guests.

2. Are there any characters at the DLH breakfast?

3. Is it really busy on a sunday at the character tea party?

4. Have read on here that they do a high tea at DLH, anyone know cost and if need to book this? Want to do this as wedding anniversary treat for my DH.

1. You can't pre-book breakfast. Just show up and tell them you want to pay for it. A tip to avoid the huge crowd is to go before 8 AM.

2. There aren't any in the restaurant. They are at the entrance of it and they switch every half hour or so, but they don't go in and go around the tables or anything in that genre.

Can't help you with 3 and 4, maybe someone else can. Sorry, hope 1 and 2 helped!

Answer to 2 is just perfect I wanted to have breakfast with no character! I know must be one of the only people to say that. But my birthday and want to just enjoy breakfast.

The breakfast is much quieter after 9:30am so the later you leave it the better. I'd aim to get there for 10am.

There is a thread with the cost of the high tea in it, I'll try and find it but AFAIK you don't book, you just turn up.

We went to buy breakfast at DLH last week on the morning we checked in and were told we didn't need to pay We arrived at breakfast between 9 and 10 most days and never had any more than one or two people in front of us waiting to be seated

I haven't done the character tea party since it has been at the cowboy cookout but we did it a couple of times at the lucky nugget and it was always full even in low season. In August I imagine it would probably be fully booked every day so it won't be any different on a Sunday - someone else may know differently though.

Yes - I had read of a couple of people being told the same thing before we went but was fully prepared to pay for our breakfast. If you mention it is a birthday treat you might get lucky too.

If your crossing is at 6am, that's 7am French time arriving 7.35am it maybe tight for you to get to Disney by 10.30am leaving you to rush breakfast, if you are driving.
