$59 All Stars Rooms???

Has anyone received an e-mail about this? My SIL (who is traveling with us) says her friend just told her she got a code for $59/night rooms. She didn't know if it was a PIN code or what. I've looked around the boards a little, don't see anything (although I'm not great at searching these boards). Anyone know anything about this, and would we be able to 'stack' it w/ free dining? I'm thinking no, but can't hurt to ask!

We got our *first* pin code postcard yesterday - for $59 value resort rooms for selected dates in the fall (Thanksgiving blocked out).

Other resorts are available too at a discount - but I didn't read it too much - didn't want to be tempted right now! We had JUST finally come to peace with the fact we wouldn't be doing our annual WDW trip between Thanksgiving and Xmas.

Now this! Be strong....be strong...!

We got a pin code via email over the summer for $59.00 at a value resort (and other prices for mods and deluxe) we used it for our stay last August. I think send out those pin codes every so often, right?

Thanks for the answers. If it's a PIN I won't count on getting it. As it is, I'm thanking my lucky stars we got Free Dining with the Disney Rewards card, so I'll just be happy with that.

I was able to book POp at $59 a night with the discount on the walt disney website. Its under special offers.

I had to purchase 1 day tickets for us each but at $59 it gives me excuse to come back. So 7 nights at POp W/ 1 day base tickets for 2 adults and 1 child was $606.11. This was much better than the AP rate I was getting.

You cannot stack free dining and a discount code. You can have one or the other for your reservation.

I had one booked for $59 with Travelocity but cancelled it cause I got the $54 AP rate instead

Yes, the AP rate is $54/night which we did have but gave it up for the free dining. We figured it out and added our daughter to the room and it was well worth it even with the DDE card. The FL and a few southern states have the same rates. These codes on listed on Mousesavers.com. There also was a GP room only discount through Oct 9.

My friend just gave me her postcard she rec'd yesterday for $59/nt, through Dec. w/Thanksgiving & Christmas blocked out. I was so bummed, we have non-refundable hotel ressies. Grrr.

We got a Pin code postcard over the summer and traveled earlier this month. Our had the dalmatians from 101 Dalmatians sitting around a TV screen on it.

We upgraded to a preferred room but got the same discount, although I called the day we recieved it and there was already limited availability for our time frame. That might have been due to free dining folks, but the resort did not seem very full until the weekend, when we were checking out.

You can always call Disney and ask them - if the rate is not available to the general public, they won't be able to "find" it for you.

Is there a place to put the codes in or do you have to find it listed and then click on it to get the rates?

Also, if we have one person traveling who needs tickets, and all the rest of us have SPs, and we get a package that we have to buy tix with, can he use them all or would we just have to keep them for later?

If you book off from the magical rates page you will automatically have the code entered. If you call the booking phone number you will need the 3 letter code to book it.
