Ok, so yesterday for language arts for homework, we had to do something called 55 Fiction. It's when you make a fictional story using 55 words or less. So I thought it would be kind of fun if we could make up a game. Ok, so the first person (me) will come up with a topic and a deadline for stories. The winner will come up with a new topic and deadline and so forth. Here's some rules for stories:

1. Make them appropriate!
2. Numbers count as words.
3. Hyphenated words count as more than one (such as twenty-two, which counts for two) unless it can't be taken apart without the hyphen (such as re-enter, which would count for one)
4. It doesn't have to be exactly 55 words, but no more than 55!

Ok, so the topic will be Halloween and it will be due on Saturday. And... START WRITING!

Five year old Lilly walked up the dark driveway and rang a doorbell. "Trick or treat!" She got her candy and left. After a long night she heard a noise. A young boy was standing behind her. "Here." She handed him a candy and took his hand. They exchanged smiles and walked off together.

First attempt at this, not very good, but I just wanted to see if I could attempt this. Not much happens in this, but oh well.

(Be prepared for the frights ahead! Mwahahahaha)

Once there was a little girl that went Trick-or-Treating with her friends. They walked up to a house. No one answered. But inside, they could see full sized candy bars. So they snuck in and grabbed one each. But before they could leave, they felt a sharp pain in their backs and DIED!!!!!! (THE END!! DUN-DUN-DUN!!!!)

One Halloween, North Academy had a student wide prank war. It got so big a student disappeared as a result of one prank. No one ever knew what happened to him. Ever since, teachers and students have confessed to seeing the boy pulling on a girl's hair or painting transparent letters on the walls....

"Only one more...", the boy said laying on the grounf surrounded by empty wrappers. A burp came out with melty chocolate dripping down his fingers."No more..." he groaned.

Jane was trick-or-treating when she found a large and building that appeared to be very old. Hesitantly she entered, marveled at the sight of ghosts and goblins "practicing their terror with goulish delight". She entered and danced with them the remainder of the night.

Ok, so I COMPLETELY forgot I made this thread. Anyway, Doodle won so she makes the next topic.

Amy ate turkey. Then she ate pie. Then she realized that someone had seen her. Seen her as she stole food from the dining room of a family she had never met. Quickly she ran out of the house. Still holding a slice of pie. Never to return.

They sat around the table, which was covered with dishes of food. There was her family, smiling, enjoying the meal, candlelight flickering in their eyes. It was warm and beautiful and happy.

She jerked awake. The fantasy had sheltered her like a cloak, but like a wisp of smoke, the dream was gone.

Uh, wings wins. Sorry, forgot I was judging.

Thanks!

Um new topic......

Okay, new topic: Being Royalty. You've got til Friday

If only I could get out of this place! I thought. No one treats me normal, and this bothered me. So I decided to make a move. I yanked the tiara out of my hair and changed into ordinary clothes, instead of a ball gown. I raced out the gates and began a new life.

there is this cool book called “The Mysteries of Harris Burdick” by Chris Van Allsburg it has pictures and then a caption for each of them and they are really interesting we used them sort of like a prompt in my reading class I was thinking maybe some one could use it as the prompt/topic thing y'all should really look at it I remember this one caption was something like... he warned her about the book, but now it was too late
