$520 difference for a porthole??

Wanted to get some feedback on this.
We would love a porthole but checking out the difference in price
for a porthole we found a $520 difference for my family of 4.
Seems a little steep!! Last cruise we were upgraded without
even asking from 11 to a 9 category. Any advice on when is the
best time to try and improve our view??

Now you know why the secret porthole rooms are so popular - outside view for an inside price. Be advised that on our 12/20/01 Wonder cruise, we got the last one of the six that exist and we booked a year in advance!

Thanks for responding. Do you know the #'s of those rooms? I think that we'll
inquire about those for sure. We're planning on an Oct cruise so it may be too
late at this point but it's worth a shot! Thanks again!! Kim

I think that sounds high and would ck around. Your quote may depend on what time of yr you're cruising, but our porthole was appx. $100 more each adult so we went with it and no increase for the kids. We're cruising Dec 2002, so it may also be less expensive season
