I need restaurant recommendations for a 50th wedding anniversary in mid-January. Can be anywhere on property. Please state why you think it's the best choice.

Victoria & Albert's.

Do not pass go. Do not collect $200 (V&A's will do that instead).

It is the place to celebrate any special occasion at WDW, especially a milestone event of a 50th Anniversary.

Absolutely, V&A. It's not only the best restaurant at WDW. It's also very high up there in restaurants in the entire US. The service and food was some of the best we have ever had, and we have eaten at some pretty good places and in some great cities. Plus, even the main dining room is very quiet and romantic. After dinner, you can walk along the beach between GF and Poly and watch the electrical water parade and the MK fireworks. You could also walk over to Poly and get a drink at Tambu Tambu or Trader Sam's. However, after the meal and wine pairings at V&A, I really only wanted a walk.
