Sorry I wasn’t sure what thread to post this in, but has anyone found 50th anniversary merch anywhere online? I just want a tshirt to give to my son for Christmas as a way to let him know we’re going to DW for spring break, and on the Shop Disney app I’m seeing nothing!

What little has been listed online has sold out quickly.

Yeah there isn’t a lot online. Sometimes it will replenish, but the eBay and poshmark Pirates got to them first. Even the poor CMs at World of Disney were defeated because even tho it’s limit 2 per customer people would keep going back and going back and going back

Shop Disney only had one tshirt when I was able to find something last month. You’d think they’d have all kinds of merchandise for people heading to DW for the 50th. You’d think it would be a cash cow to have stuff in stock and available for purchase. Seems like poor planning on Disney’s part.

Many stores are experiencing low inventory due to port congestion issues, particularly on the west coast. I am sure Disney would like to sell as much as they can!

I was able to get the sky liner ornament and the 50th anniversary puzzle on shop Disney yesterday. I also saw the Starbucks cup and a few other things so keep checking. There was some limited merchandise when I was in the parks last week. At different times I got the 50th anniversary Pandora charm and the Alex and Ani 50th bracelet. I also got the Mr Toad t-shirt. There were lots of calendars and some other clothing

All you have to do is get up around 5 AM Eastern daily and see what's been added. Usually in limited quantities, so it doesn't last long.

I'd sure like to think that if anyone can maximize logistics in moving merchandise from China to the US right now, it's Disney. But alas, it does seem very much like even they are having serious issues with it.

I have this crazy feeling that sometime next year all the backlogged 50th merchandise is going to show up in outlet stores in big numbers.

Not sure if you checked the thread I linked, but we posted there’s a restock of the blue 50th shirts this morning on shopDisney.

We are at WDW now and stores at the resorts/parks are REALLY low on D & B. I prefer to buy in person, however I find the pattern but the not the style and vice versa. The CM's are frustrated with those pirates...and shame on them! We are probably paying 20K to be here for two weeks...get a real job!

This is 100% on Disney. I know they have finally put in a limit of 2. But have they limited each AP to 2 total so they can't just get back in line again?

Also, I know Disney is having supply chain issues like everyone else, but this reseller issue predates the pandemic. If they would make ample quantity available, both in the parks and online, it wouldn't be a problem.

The supply chain issues will eventually get figured out. But Disney will still be making too many items limited in quantity. I can only surmise that they like it that way. They like the frenzy that goes with it. They like the social media attention the scarcity provides.

The resellers would be a much smaller issue if they got stuck with merchandise they couldn't unload at inflated prices because Disney actually made enough of it available themselves.

As a side note, we were there a couple of weeks ago and the shops were swarming with people--like Walmart on Black Friday. I guess many people were buying 50th items, the stores were so chaotic I couldn't stand to stay in them very long. I'm guessing this frenzy will ebb and flow through 2022 as various merch is re-stocked and new items added.

Thank you, I’m just now seeing this. Looks like they’re gone already. Guess I’ll just have to check every day. Unfortunately my work schedule I’m usually sleeping in the morning hours when I assume most of these merch drops occur.

It would also help if they were more available online, bigger quantity quicker restock & maybe a back order/ wait list. So you knew you could actually get it from Disney.

We'll be at EPCOT tomorrow, so will see what is available. We were at MK at 7 pm last night and left after fireworks (dropped our son, DIL and friends at Boo Bash) and found the shops packed to the gills and just skipped it. On a side note, they were able to walk on all rides last night with no waiting!

May I ask what store you found the Pandora charms? I'll be at WDW this weekend and I'd love to get a Pandora charm.

When you walk down Main Street towards the castle it is on the right. There are 2 connected stores. The first one had some 50th anniversary merchandise. Connected to that store is a store that pretty much just sells Dooney and Bourke and Pandora. They had a Pandora Sandwich Board outside. The Pandora counter is in the back. I had to wait in line for about 5 minutes because they only allow one purchaser per sales person at the Pandora counter. I asked what 50th Anniversary jewelry they had and they showed me the little charm in the box. I think it was about $95-$100 plus I was able to get a DVC or passholder discount.

Thank you for the information! I saw that the Pandora bracelet with a 50th anniversary charm is on shopdisney today (for $25 more than in the parks), but I really just want 1 charm. Hopefully luck is on my side!
