I am pre-pre-planning for my 50th birthday with some friends. We are planning a 4 day in June of 2019. I would love to sail DCL but I'm not sure if it would be cost prohibitive for my friends. Any idea how much a summer sailing would be when it first comes out? I think we would do 2 to a room. RCL and NCL look to be $300-$400pp and I don't know if DCL can touch that.

DCL would be around $800 - 1500 pp in June for a 3-5 day sailing. . Regardless of destination, ship, etc unfortunately. IMO.

Unless you are a Florida resident. Then, at the last minute, 30 days out, you may get a discounted FL fare.
In June. Unlikely.
If so it will be $ .... 500 - 1000. Still more than NCL.

DCL will be twice that fare you mentioned anyway so ... . IMO.

Good Luck on NCL

Seriously

NCL has it's strengths. ... Just don't focus on it weaknesses., while aboard.

As any vessel and line has pros and cons.

Bon Voyage

Go the 2nd or 3rd week of may and you might hit the low of $800 per person. and/Or sleep 4 in a deluxe family. plan on some of you showering at the spa during peak getting ready times???

Thanks! I was afraid of that. We are, actually, Florida residents but I don't want to wait until the last minute and bank on a discount. I'm bummed - it's going to be impossible to convince them to spend $800 instead of $300. Seeing as I have a family DCL cruise booked 6 months earlier already, I'll just have to suck it up.
