I made a room reservation for Contemporary last week! I was at the 45th and vowed to be back for the 50th, but this time be able to walk to MK to beat the transportation mess. I'll be going 9/30 -10/9.. Staying at Contemporary just a few nights, then hope to switch to SSR.

Cash rooms - NOT DVC - can be booked by phone through October 7, 2021 right now. Contemporary is not DVC and follows the 499 day rule.
