I always get the plain, ol' chicken fried chicken at 50's.. Looking for something new, but hesitant without suggestions!! Hmm-

My suggestion? How about somewhere else to eat. Sorry that I can't be of better help. I don't really care for Prime Time.

We've enjoyed both the pot roast and meatloaf.

I will parrot the pot roast and meatloaf suggestions. Also: Watermelon Sprite and Smore Pie.

it'll be my DH's first time, the experience just once is a must do, i argue.. but over time, i can see how some might get tired with it.. :guilty: HOWEVER-- he's wanting to see it, too for the decorations-- we're going with the 50's diner-theme for our kitchen once we're married- LOL

I'm looking to try something new as well.
I looked at the menu and saw chicken pot pie, is that any good?

I love the chicken sandwich there.....

Grilled Chicken topped with shaved ham & swiss......Yummy!

we get the onion rings and shrimp cocktail, DH gets the pot roast, i get the salmon, and dessert is that brownie sundae (we share)

I personally love the pot roast.

My friend Lori loved the meatloaf and makes the recipe at her home for her family.

I had the salmon and it was really good. I also didn't care for the overall dining experience at 50's Prime Time. We had a 6:30 ADR and were seated nearly an hour later - this is all with an almost 3 year old. Not good.

The onion rings, the pot roast, and the meat loaf are tasty.

And the electric lemonade cocktail (from Dad's Liquor Cabinet), with the glowing ice cubes, is another favorite if you choose to imbibe. I always need a drink at 50s. I'm shy with the outrageous CMs until that first drink.
:rotfl:

The pot roast is the only thing I've ever ordered there...can't bring myself to order anything different... :)

I was the same till last year; I got the meatloaf. If was fairly good, but not like the pot roast. I did steal a piece of my dgf's chicken, and it was almost as good as HDDR. Prime Time Cafe is my favorite place to eat in the World.

The chicken pot pie was simply disgusting. A piece of puff pastry on top of tasteless watery goulash.
