I really want to try out this restaurant on our next trip to HS. Looking at the menu and remembering what I've read previously on here, is the Mom's Sampler enough for two adults to split? DH is not a fan of meatloaf or veggies, so that would leave him with the chicken, pot roast, and whatever is left on the plate. Is this okay or would this not be allowed?

TIA! :goodvibes

I've never tried to split an entree at a Disney restaurant, so I can't comment on that, but I will definitely tell you that YES, the sampler plate is most definitely large enough to share! It is a ridiculous amount of food. You get a chicken breast, good sized slice of meatloaf, and good sized portion of pot roast, and all the veggies, including mashed potatoes. Below is a picture from the Disney Food Blog. Check out all that delicious home cookin'!

The plate is definitely large enough to share, assuming your DH is not the size of a linebacker. Especially if you have one of their fabulous milkshakes as well. Sharing of meals is permitted as long as you are not on the dining plan.

I'm sooooo Hungry looking at that picture....Yummmm:worship: I never miss a stop there when down at the world...This past trip in November I found out about the sampler, which makes things easy for me to decide. In terms of sharing I guess you can, but for me being 6'2" 225lbs. It's just about right for me...LoL Can't eat there too late though otherwise it'll just way you down. Especially w/ the Milkshake... Try for a 430 ressie or so. Good Luck

and have never had anything that we didn't like! The meat loaf is great, the por roast tender and delicious, the chicken...to die for, the sandwiches...wow...so good!

We usually only eat one big meal a day so sorry...no sharing....I want my CHICKEN!

More than enough to share! And I will tell you that we ate there for the first time on our last trip and talked about it for weeks after. It's such a great place!
