I am usually TS-resistant but am thinking of trying 50's Primetime on our next trip. I've read about it, walked by it before, heard a few reviews -I think I get the idea of what it's about. Anyone have any pix to share? Advice or recommendations? TIA

I do not have any photos but my only advice is to try it. It is fun, the food is good and it is a not to be missed for us.

Please give it a try. 50's Prime Time is a must do on our trips. :)

That guy is absolutely hilarious we have him on video!

Thanks so much for the pix and the good words about Primetime. I think I'll be making ADRs soon.

DH and I liked the food, and the atmosphere is really fun. (May not want to take anyone too sensitive to being mildly picked on, in the "Elbows off the table!" sort of way.)

I am considering dinner here. I am on the DDP. DO you get your moneys worth of TS meal on the DDP????

YES! :) This is an awesome place to go! In fact, it was so fun and the food was so good on our first time that we cancelled our Sci Fi reservations two days later and took the only remaining 50's one they had left! The decor is awesome and we had wonderful service! Everything is themed, of course, to the 1950's era. Our first trip we had anu "Aunt" that served us (my hubby ended up with a bib on) :rotfl:and our second trip we had "Mom" who even gave us homework to complete while "she made" supper! To cute! :) I had steak, potatos, veggies, and (real flavored) vanilla coke both times (as well as appetizer and dessert each time). Our son had the pot roast both times, and PB&J shakes (the shakes count as a drink there) as well as his appetizers and desserts. My husband had pot roast the first time and steak (sides like mine) the second trip (he preferred the roast) and shakes, as well as his appetizers and desserts. It is a lot of food! There are several choices of entrees to choose from. The dessert menu is on a view master, which is cute! I also like the fact that it is not a huge open dining room, but broken into sections, and tables nearby were referred to (by our "Aunt") as our cousins! One young lady was celebrating a birthday and Auntie got her a birthday card, signed it, had all of us sign it, and we all sang HB to her!

If you go into it wanting to have fun, you'll love it. It was one of our favorites!

We ask for "Uncle Mark" every time!

And here he asked my DS19 to go over to another table and sing happy birthday to this boy!! Hilarious

WOW! :cool1: A special thanks for the food porn! Everything I saw looks yummy. One thing I can tell is that the portions are H-U-G-E! That plate of fried chicken looks like it would do me for three days.

Here's a couple from the waiting area... I was having too much fun with dinner and our newly met cousins to remember to take out the camera during dinner :teeth:

We went in September because my DD thought that the atmosphere sounded like lots of fun. I wasn't expecting very much from the food but ended up really liking everything. The fried boursin cheese with grapes, salmon and smores were all yummy. My DH had the strip steak and said that it was wonderful.

I've eaten there several times, and as far as the atmosphere, it seems to be hit or miss. I've had some absolutely great times there, but the last time I went with my sister, we hardly got any interaction at all. It was so disappointing. My sister and I are both shy though so I have a feeling we may have given off the wrong vibe that we didn't want to play.

I loved it when we went. I got the fried chicken (something I NEVER order out) and I got yelled at cause I had just bought a Yoda PEZ dispenser and was filling it up with candy. She yelled cause I was eating candy before lunch :rotfl2:

Here's my favorite part ... the dessert menu is on a view finder:
