50's Prime Time questions

We love PTC! The food is great, especially the pot roast. I don't think the servers have ever been too annoying or in our face at all, they joke a little, but nothing awful.

our first time at 50's was in '98 and it was a blast. My wife and I were at Disney for our 1 year anniversary and not that we were eating at 50's for our anniversary, but the trip in general. Once the waitress found out it was our anniversary she made sure to put us on the spot by getting everyone's attention and announcing that it was our anniversary. Then she and everyone else gave us the usual peer pressure to kiss and be all romantic. It was a fun meal and it gave us the opportunity to get to know some of the other guests around us. I guess while I am at WDW the more interactive the Guest/CM experience can be, the better the vacation.

One other thing was that I got "in trouble" for having my elbows on the table. After my punishment (setting the table) the older couple at the table next to us told us that he got in trouble for the same thing. And they had their grand kids with them. before they left I remember them telling us how they were glad they ate there and enjoyed the meal as well.

As for the food I do have to admit, it's comfort food. But you can't go wrong with my appetite when it comes to comfort foods.

We just ate there Sat, 3-14. We went at lunch time and had a fun time. They're not too out there with us, just the right amount of fun. They don't bother you every 10 mins or so, just come by and check on you like at regular places and have a little fun while they're there if you want it.

My DD10 ordered the fried chicken and it did come with the greens. She ate some of it, it's a lot of food, didn't touch the greens. Our waitress, Aunt Carol, did come by and ask everyone in our room to do the airplane noises and spoon fed her but it was some chicken, not the greens. She even made the comment, don't worry, I won't do the greens! It was fun, my DD is shy but even she had a good time with it.

I agree, try it at least once.

We were there in August. Our server was Tim. He spoon fed my 35 y/o sister her collard greens

This past December when I was there with 3 friends of mine from Orlando our server was also Uncle Tim and he also spoon fed one of my friends their collard greens and he was in his 20's.

we were there on the 6th for dinner...our waiter was very good it hink he was Cousin Joey. He wasnt too in your face if u didnt want him to be, my DD would look for him and put a huge smile on when he saw her to get him to come over and yell at her uncle lol....DH got spoon fed his greens, he could tell my brother didnt want that to happen once my brother quickly ate a bite and he said ok i wont tell on you lol...the table next to us seemed to be rushed and didnt want to be bothered and they were left alone, the dad had one bit of his chicken and nothing was said to him. they can really pick up on how your feeling

I LOVED this place. I have eaten at Sci-Fi as well and while it was cute, the food was just ok. We had terrific service, just the right amount of harassment and my tuna noodle casserole was to die for. Which I can honestly say I never thought I'd say about tuna noodle casserole! To the point that I'm trying to replicate the dish at home.

I have been here many times. Every time I have been there it has always been enjoyable. The last time I went our waiter was so funny. I didn't finish my veggies so he took the plate away and came back with a "special surprise". My veggies were covered in chocolate sauce and sprinkles. He says you have to eat this before you get anything else. That is the worst thing they will do and no they don't make you eat it. Its all in good fun
