50s Prime Time Question

Can you ask for a "tame" server? We would really like to try this restaurant, but my dd is developmentally delayed and painfully shy. If someone tried to tease her or anyone else at the table, she will flip.

What do you think? We keep skipping it, but I really want to try it one of these days.

I do not see why you could not request a tame waitress. If you make an ADR just let them know and again when you check in at 50's.

Absolutely ask for a tame waiter/waitress at check-in.
We love the 50's both for the food and atmosphere. Honestly I don't think they get enough credit for really good food and large portions.
We don't get involved in the games they do very much. My DS (15) will only go as far as to hold his elbows a few inches off the table to get a response. In all our visits the waiter/waitress seemed to sense our feelings and only played a little.
Go ahead and have a great time!
Just be sure you tell them at check-in your needs and concerns.

I would also ask for a tamer waiter/waitress but for the most part the servers "pick on" the adults, especially those with elementary aged children. The first time we ate there my DS was 10 and my sister went with us. She has never taken to teasing but she played along and did very well, especially when I half way expected her to get up and walk out but it was all in fun. We went back when DS was 14 and they basically left us alone and I have to admit it wasn't as much fun!

We have had tame servers in the past and we haven't asked for them. We have also seen people checking in asking for a tamer one and the CM's accomidate them without any problems.
