50's Prime Time or Sci-Fi Dine Inn? Vote

I can't speak to the Sci-Fi restaurant since I have never dined there but we had dinner last week at 50's which is always a family favorite. The Pot Roast is delicious. My kids love the fried chicken also and shakes. For dessert, sundaes and smores were good. They did screw up a little when they sat us w/o assigning a waitress so we waited 10 minutes or so before anyone came to the table and the waitress also took forever to bring the check.

We are partial to 50s prime time. Just not a huge fan of the food at Sci Fi....although the atmosphere is wonderful.

We will have the DDP for our October trip and we have Sci-Fi booked. But wondering if 50's PT will be better.

If you get a good waitress, 50's is a great time. If you get a so-so, like we did our second trip--it's just another meal. Sci-fi is always the same--decent food and awesome atmosphere. Sci-fi is our favorite in Disney. I like old cheesy sci-fi, so that's why. Go for what is more your fancy. To me, 50's is too dependant upon the service.

But I voted for 50's Prime Time because big sister Emily yelled at my mom and called her a tattle-tale.

It was PRICELESS and big sister Emily got a big tip too! You would have to know my mom to appreciate someone telling her something for a change. But she was a great sport and we are still talking about it today.

A very hard decision, I had been to both and enjoy both. If you have not gone to either, I think I would pick the 50' Prime Time. Great atmosphere, and very entertaining

Thanks everyone for posting. Looks like we might just stick with Sci-Fi to try something new. DS will probably love eating in a car at the drive inn. I really do like 50's PT since they have good food.

If you like to have fun when you eat, then definitely go with the 50's cafe. If you need to veg and relax, go for the sci-fi theatre. Personally, I am all about fun the whole time I am there, so have a big milk shake and have a blast!
