Hello, I know with the new regulations is it worth going to 50s prime time cafe. does anybody know if the waiters will be working or if this will be mobile ordering like the other disney restaurants. I am planning a trip in September and wanted to check out the cafe.

Reports from the DIS team at the Wave and others they have a QR code on the table that will pull up the current menu on your phone.

The QR code menus are to eliminate the need to sanitize menus between diners (and, okay, maybe to allow for on-the-fly menu changes). Their existence shouldn't change guests' contact with servers.

The servers are part of the fun, but honestly I would go even if they weren't there. It's such a fun atmosphere with the counters, old fashioned tables/chairs, televisions, black/white tv shows. And the food is delish! 50's PT is a "must do" everything we go to WDW

Thanks for this info! I'm going Sept. 12 and have a res for Prime Time.

For years Prime Time was a go to place for us. We loved ordering Mom's favorite However, the prices have gone up, the serving sizes have gone down and some of the wait staff is not as fun as all used to be. We have actually skipped Prime Time our last two trips. A place for good fun but in an entirely different location is Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge. We love the fun. (You have the choice not to participate.) And we feel the food is excellent. Oh the cornbread..... YUM.

Check the menu. It’s reduced. We ended up canceling, because there wasn’t anything I wanted,

We were there about 10 days ago. Pretty much the only things on the menu were pot roast, meatloaf, and fried chicken.

I have been going to WDW since 1995 and there has never been a trip we have not eaten at Prime Time. They used to have a pork tenderloin with an apple chutney that was my go-to order for years, then they did away with that. The past few times I have gone, I have not been as impressed, and I was just there a few weeks ago, and honestly, it was the worst meal I had on my trip (except for PizzeRizzo, where we only went because we didn’t realize Backlot Express closed at 4PM). I got the fried chicken, and I was extremely disappointed. That said, one bad experience over 25 years of going wouldn’t deter me from going again. Additionally, I’m not really a big fan of any of the other TS options at DHS, so I’ll go back. Just disappointed with my most recent experience.

We were there last week. Still very fun! We had great interaction with the waitress and had a good time! Ceaser salad is very good. Great Margarita too.

Where can we see the reduced menu? I looked on the app and it seemed like a pretty full menu to me.
The app has the current menu. We missed the turkey pot pie. DH got the salmon caeser salad, DD20 the pot roast, DD16 got a junior sized chicken strips and fries, I got the vegan pasta dish. The food was good, but I found the tables uncomfortably close. Our room had 2 tables of 4, and a table of 6 all occupied...they only left the table of 2 empty. Maybe the tables were 6 feet apart...but not the chairs with people in them...
