We are looking at making ADRs for Prime Time Cafe in January. Two questions: if Fantasmic is at 6:30 as currently listed, and the park closes at 8:00, can we get a reservation at, say, 7:30? Second, are we going to be disappointed in the service if we go that late? I want a fun server who will do the goofy things. Am I better off making a lunch reservation?

Yes, you can make reservations at 7:30, no problem. We have been there at around 7:00 and had a great time, so I would tend to think you should too.

Now, get your elbows off the table, and say Hello to your cousin, Bartholomew at the next table, he didn't travel 127,349 miles for nothin'!

Have Fun!

We had reservations at 7:30 as well and the food and staff were awesome! Great food and great laughs from kids as well as adults !

Not sure if you have ever been to Fantasmic but if you haven't you are in for a treat. It gave me goose bumps!! Disney magic :lovestruc

I hope you have a great time :goodvibes

DD5 and I waited through an entire day of rain last February and finally got to see the late show after the early show was canceled. We both thought it was well worth the wait. This time I am going with my sister, and two cousins (all adults) none of whom have seen it. I am absolutely ecstatic that it will be showing the night we are there. I told them it is our number one priority, no matter what!:dance3:

Are you REALLY sure you want to eat at 50s Prime Time?I did and it was horrible plus embarrassing. My meal tasted like monkey meat. It was literally so bad I quietly spit it out into my napkin and tried to be discrete. Unfortunately, the waiter spied it and made it into a federal case, announcing to the room that I had not eaten it. When he would NOT stop and demanded to know why I was so naughty that he would have to tell "mom", I was forced to tell the dining patrons that my food tasted like an open grave. Simply the WORST dining experience I have ever had.

Where did you eat monkey meat?
I have eaten at PTC every time I've been to MGM/DHS and have loved it every time. What did you have? It's fun and the food is great. You may have gotten a bad meal, but there are thousands on here that love PTC and recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor. Sorry your experience was otherwise, but it sure ain't gonna stop me. I'll be there Dec 14 and I bet I love it again.

My fried chicken was awesome in Sept. Maybe it's just not your kind of atmosphere because it sounds like the server was just doing his job and playing his roll. Maybe you should stay out of themed restaurants because it sounds like that's more the issue.

We made ADR's yesterday morning for PTC on January 3rd at 7h40 and the park closes at 8h00 that night. We're going to catch Fantasmic! and head over after. Never been to PTC and hope for a fun meal...:goodvibes

This poster DOES have a sense of humor, which is how their post should be taken. It was obviously written in the same vein of humor that Prime Time portrays; i.e., just because the servers give you a hard time about something doesn't mean they're really mad at you. LOL
