$50 to run Disneyland 5K!

I just registered for the DL 1/2 (thanks for discount that someone posted) and noticed that the 5K this year is $50. I guess I won't be doing the 5K this year.

Anyone else think this is expensive for a 5K? I paid $43.10 (with Active.com fees) for last year's race. So, that means it probably was $40 last year. An increase of at least $10. Wow!

Yes, $50 is ridiculous but it is Disney so while I don't like it I do understand. The $100 for the 5K for the Wine & Dine is appalling. I won't be there for the party so the "free" ticket that you have to buy does me no good. I was going to do the 5K if the price was under $50. Not even a run through MK is worth $100 to me.
