The seat sale does have seats to Orlando with cost approx 645 return inc taxes from Calgary and 460 inc taxes return to LAX for example (not bad actually travel until Sept 30)....sigh.

The price is not bad at all except most of the flight depart at 1:00am in the morning from Calgary.

However, I did the math on this one...

We're driving to Seattle to fly to LAX. Taking Virgin America, total cost for family of 4 to fly roundtrip is $856 (includes taxes).

Even with WestJet's sale price, total cost for family of 4 to fly roundtrip from YVR to LAX is $2156 (includes taxes).

Wow, huge difference.

Driving to Seattle unfortunately is not an option for us especially with the gas prices.

Have you check the flights depart from Edmonton? I heard sometime the saving is worth the drive and leave from there.

We are not looking for flights. We bought our flights in February. I was just posting the seat sale for anyone that might have been interested. There are no direct flights to Orlando from Edmonton so no I would not consider that especially with the price of gas these days.
