5-year old birthday boy suggestions

Our arrival day is our son's 5th birthday. We will be staying at the Contemporary but are open to anything. We've gone to Disney many times but never on anyone's actual birthday. Any ideas on something fun to do that evening? TIA!

Will you have park tickets for that day? If so, his favorite park for a few hours and dinner at a fun place. A character meal or maybe Rainforest or T-Rex Cafe?

We weren't planning on having park tix that day but wouldn't mind adding them. T-Rex is a good idea. Also thought about Mickey's Backyard BBQ, Luau, Chip & Dale Campfire at FW, or Pirates and Pals fireworks cruise. Any thoughts on these or others appreciated.

Chef Mickey's is fun for birthdays. We celebrated DS6 birthday there when he was 5 and he loved when they brought him out a cupcake and all the characters were dancing around.
