5 points left in my UY…what to do with them?

Our use year is approaching the end (3/31) and I forgot to bank so we were able to use them for 5 nights at Aulani last week (talk about first world problems right???). The stay was 145 points and now I have 5 points remaining. Do I just let them expire or is there something I could or should do with them? I’ve never been in this situation!

Only thing you could do is try to borrow a few and make a one night reservation to rent out...or let them go.

Some have even tried to buy OTU point to make the night and include that cost into the rental...but, you have to have at least enough for a one night stay to do anything.

Since the points aren't banked, you could offer to transfer them to another member. There are often members looking for a few points to complete a reservation. If you don't qualify to have the fee waived for the DIS Rent/Transfer Board (to get some compensation for the points), there are other places to do that. If you are willing to give them away, you can use the DIS R/T Board without paying for a plan.

Members who receive transferred points can bank them, even though you can't.
