5 pm diner @ Kona ( anniversary/ get to AK( EMH) for EE before 7:30?

We have ressies at Kona, 4 people to celebrate our 20th, but heres the thing, that is the only late EMH for AK during our trip and we'd REALLY like to try EE at night...do you think I should switch from Kona to a closer AK location? DH is not interested in Jiko or Boma so the obvious choices are out. He would like to try Chef's D France, but for some reason I have it in my head that dinner will take longer there overall. Any suggestions? We will need to take the bus from Poly to AK after dinner, or hop the monorail to Epcot, then bus to AKL/bus to AK..unless someone has a better route..

p.s. we may grab a cab if dinner lasts 'till 7, but do you think it would be 2 hours for a 5 pm ressie?

I think you'll be OK.

We had a 5:00 PM reservation at Kona before MVMCP, and were in the MK by 6:30. We ordered apps, entrees, and desserts. Service was quick, but not rushed.

ETA - It may be faster to walk to the TTC and take the AK bus from there. Not sure if the Poly bus stops on the way to AK or not.

We have had dinner before at the Kona many times, and last time we had the girls in the Neverland Club. There was a 2hr. minimum, We dropped them off, it took 1 hr. and 45 min. We had an ADR, but still had to wait about 15 min before we got in. We had drinks, apps, dinner, and dessert. Just thought I would let you know. By the time we walked back to Neverland Club which is right by the bus stop at the Poly, it was 2hr.

There is a bus that takes you to the AK from the Poly, depending if you hit it just right or after a bus has already left, you could be waiting up to 20+ minutes for another bus to come back to the Poly to take you to the AK.

THANKS ALL....for reasons I can't get into we HAVE to stay w/Kona ( which is great, very excited to try it) so I am hoping being a early dinner will help out a bit. I better remember to take my motion sickness stuff, after eating a nice dinner and then EE....

FINFAN, the buses from the TTC run every 20 minutes so I would be tempted to walk over there after dinner.

But do you mean you want to actually be at EE by 7:30. I think that could be tight just because of the walk once you get to AK. Does the ride close then?

Anyway, enjoy your anniversary dinner. Kona is great!
