Okay -- we have a 5 pm departure flight. I'd love all your ideas on what to do for the day? I realize we have to be back at the airport by 3 pm. I'd appreciate any and all thoughts you may have. Thank you so much.:)

Hi !

We do Downtown Disney great way to spend a few hours...

Enjoy your cruise :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Do you have a car? If so there are lots of ways to kill a few hours in Orlando. Downtown Disney is a good idea as mentioned above. You can shop at Belz Outlets (on the north end of International Drive) & hit the Disney outlets (Character Premiere or Character Warehouse). They sometimes (not very often, but you never know) have DCL merchandise. Lots of brochures all over town on the smaller attractions.

Yes we do have a car. I just don't want to spend the day in the car. I didn't know if there was anything to do in the port area or cocoa beach area either.

Kennedy Space Center of course. There is also a national seashore there. They might do tours, I am not sure. You could search online for stuff in Brevard County. Don't know if you are traveling with kids or not (ages?) A small zoo in Melbourne is supposed to be nice with some new sections. A landmark restaurant in Titusville, Dixie Landings (they have a web site). The beach, but then you need a place to get cleaned up. Ron Jons's Surf Shop (open 24 hours a day!) in Cocoa.

WE did downtown disney last time and are going to do gatorland this year

another vote for kennedy space center... we did this last time and had a great time.

Do you mean Dixie Crossroads in Titusville? Their website address is www.DixieCrossroads.com

You are correct. It is Dixie Crossroads. Wasn't your old picture from there Verandah Man?

We shipped our luggage right to the airport and then spent the day at the Boardwalk area. We went mini golfing at Fantasia Gardens, eat at the Big Grill restaurant, rented a surrey and then shopped in the Boardwalk stores. It was really a fun day!!!!
