I just realized I posted Raglan Road on the 24th for dinner. It was actually on the 25 and Whispering Canyon was on the 24. So I will do Whispering Canyon now.

I got a little busy and have not been posting like I should. I will try to post several today.

We arrived at Wilderness Lodge by boat and went straight to the resturant. I signed in and then we roamed the lobby. I love this resort!!!

We were seated and right away we loved the feel of this place. It was fun. Now if you are tired and cranky this is NOT the place to be. You need to go in knowing that it is loud, but it is fun!

Me- Western Chips and Dip - Homemade Corn Torilla Chips with a bowl of freshly made salsa and queso dip $8.49
I wanted the prime rib, but it was not on the menu. I order a steak instead it It came with mashed potatoes and veggies 21.99
S'more Cheesecake - New York style cheesecake on a graham cracker crust topped with chocolate ganache and marshmallows $5.49
For drink I got a smoothy - 3.49

DH - Fried Chicken Wings - sweet chili glaze $8.49
St. Louis-style Ribs - cowboy beans, mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables; Half Rack $20.99
S'more Cheesecake - New York style cheesecake on a graham cracker crust topped with chocolate ganache and marshmallows $5.49
Coke- 2.39

DS9- Grilled Fish of the Day - served with whole-grain pilaf, veggies, and yogurt parfait $7.59
Came with the drink and he ordered a smoothy

DS5- Mac n chees also came with watermelon and fries and a drink. He ordered a milkshake $7.59

I liked the my app. Actually everyone at my table liked my app. DH did not care for his because it was so spicy! I LOVED his. So if you can handle the spice I say go for the wings!

My steak was ok... a little tough. Not really a good cut of mean. DH liked his meal. Said it was good. They boys were both happy.

We actually took desert back to the resort. We just were too full to eat it. To be honest we never did eat it. I hate that it went to waste!

I especially appreciate the kids meals comments. Even though my DDs will be 10 & 11 when we go, we're paying OOP for meals, and thought they'd probably end up sharing an adults meal. The kids meals on most WDW menus don't really appeal to them, except for the side of fruit (& smaller dessert, or better still... MORE fruit), and they'd prefer two smaller drinks rather than having to share an adults version (they have different tastes in beverages). They're not really nuggets & burger fans and would prefer something with vegies & salad, so it'll be good to hear what other options you had.

Also good to hear about Yak & Yeti cs - I think that'll be our pick if we're in AK at lunch time!

Great reviews! Have to agree with Sci Fi....was not overally impressed with it our last trip. Service and food just were'nt anything special.

I see by your reviews that you did not like the food at CBR. Did you like the resort? I'll be staying there for the first time in December. Wasn't planning on any meals there though.
