We left for my personal favorite Epcot. Thank goodness we never had too long of a wait for the buses other than the HS buses. We got all the big ones out of the way first thing and then got fast passes for Test Track to do again after lunch. Tempers are flairing again among some of the girls. My own daughter (18) even had a few words with her best friend. This is not like her so I have to chalk it up to the heat and the lack of sleep. My neice (15) broke down crying at lunch because she missed her boyfriend and wanted to go home. What... this is Disney. There's no crying for boyfriends at Disney! She sat in the gift shop in the Living Seas and talked on the phone to him for an hour. After that she was okay. I told her if one more tear fell out of her eye, I was going to throw her in the lake. The drama was unreal! We have desided the next time we take teenagers to Disney, we only take boys. They had a blast with each other and they didnt cry every 5 minutes. Around 3:00 a storm blew in. I didnt want to go back to the room , so I took 3 girls and my best friends husband with me to ride the Monorail. We rode the Epcot loop about 6 times till it quite storming. It never quit raining though. We did see lighting strike SpaceShip Earth. When we came back around there was a big black spot on the side of it. Im glad I wasnt on that ride when that happened. We waited for Illuminations in the rain. In the mean while, my best friend Kelli, also a chaparone, calls to tell me the cat fights are in full swing. Girls screaming and crying, calling their parents, wanting to go home. What a mess. I think half were on their period and the other half were suffering from PMS. She did the best she could to get them under control. Again, we have worked with these kids for years and have never seen behavior like this.
Thank goodness my little group stayed to watch Illuminations. We then took the boat launch to HS and saw Fantasmic at 10:30. It was so foggy and misty that it was hard to see the fireworks. I was glad I went just to get away from the drama. We returned to our rooms about 12:30 and thankfully found most of the kids in their own rooms in bed.
