ESPN CLUB- This was our 2nd visit here. After hearing some not so good reviews recently, I was a little nervous that it may have gone downhill. Im happy to say it was just as good as we remembered. Between the kids & adults we had macaroni & cheese, dingers, burgers & fries(we seem to have the same tastes as each other and order the same kind of stuff a lot). We were all very happy with our meals, the atmosphere is a lot of fun, and our server was very good too. We would probably make a point to go back again.

HOOP DE DOO REVUE- We had done this dinner show 2 years ago and liked it enough to go back. The food was great! As Ive said here before the fried chicken is the best Ive ever had. The ribs had a wonderful flavor, but I found them a little tough. DM said she had some tough ones and some where the meat fell right off. The ribs may be hit or miss on that, but the taste was still great. The salad, bread, corn, and strawberry shortcake were all very good too. Our server didnt go out of her way to be overly friendly and she was confused by our drink order(DH & I both wanted diet coke & beer), but she still got the job done. In the end, she was very generous with the pitchers of beer so I really cant complain, LOL! I cant say enough about the show. I laughed until I cried. We were all in hysterics. Even DS who was trying not to laugh, couldnt control himself. The only downside to doing the HDD is the transportation afterwards. We had to take the internal bus from Pioneer Hall to the entrance of FW, then another bus from there to DTD, then another to ASMO. Between each bus change we had at least a 10-15 minute wait. Also on the bus from DTD to ASMO, the driver took us on an unexpected stop near PI to change drivers where again we had to wait for another 10 minutes. The whole trip home took 1 1/2 hours! IMO, they should either have special buses leaving there going to the resorts(like the special ones in the morning for character breakfasts), or have 2-3 buses waiting for the show to get out going right to DTD since thats where most people have to go. But anyway, we had had 2nd thoughts about doing this when the park hours were announced. We werent sure about giving up a whole evening with such short park time. But in the end we were very glad that we did it. We really had the best time here!

DONALDS BREAKFASTASAURUS- We had the first PS of the day, at 8:10. By the time we were let into the park, checked in, got called into our groups, and led to the restaurant by our waiter it was at least 8:20. We then found this meal very stressful. Our waiter basically shouted orders at us in an army generals voice. Once we were shown to our table he said we could either wait for characers or go to the buffet and he would let us know when the characters were ready. Since we saw no characters and there wasnt a line at the buffet we went up. We each had one little thing on our plate(some had nothing) when we heard our name being yelled out and "Donald Duck is at your table! Get back to your table!". We looked and started back but by now other characters were out having pictures done with kids so there were lots of obstuctions in getting back. We were then yelled for again and again as we tried fighting our way through characters with plates and kids. On the good side, the food was very good and I was thrilled to finally try a Krispy Kreme donut(or 2, but whos counting). But to avoid the stress, I think we will stick to Chef Mickeys like we usually do. Its much more fun there.

CINDERELLAS ROYAL TABLE- Wow! While most of us loved this meal, DH was the dissenter. I hadnt expected much of the food after hearing mostly so so reviews. Also, because I dont like my food mixed(syrup on eggs, ketchup on french toast, etc..) and the food is preplated, so I was worried. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought all the food was very good and the french toast was incredible! I solved my strange problem by immediatly moving the french toast to my muffin plate and just not eating the eggs that had the apple syrupy stuff on them. DH & my neice didnt like the potatos. Since DH feels the potatos make the meal, this was disappointing to him. They have a sort of creamy texture to them. Im guessing its sour cream, but if anyone know for sure, let me know. Personaly I loved them, but they arent for everyone. The character interaction was great as was the whole atmosphere. It was much more relaxed than Donalds. Our server was very good too. We probably wouldnt go through the trouble of booking this meal again for just the 4 of us, however if we get to go with my neices again that would be the perfect excuse to start dialing at 6:58 every day again. ;)

MAMA MELROSE- As I posted in a separate thread, the menu has changed here. We were quite disappointed in this meal. They started us off with a potatoe & chive bread. We would have much prefered plain bread or rolls. DH & I have been to MM 5 trips in a row now and Ive always gotten the pizza. This time I had planned to get the chicken/broccoli/pasta dish and it was gone. After reading the new menu, I stuck with the pizza. DH & DM got the grilled filet of beef. It didnt have a very good flavor, almost a burnt taste, and since the juice was on the pasta it came with, that too didnt taste too great. It was also very tiny for a dinner. My neice didnt like her spaghetti because it was very thin(she gets her eating habits from me;) ). The kids cheese pizza and my 4 cheese pizza/flatbread were very good as usual. We had a good server too. The worst part of this meal was we decided to go here to do the Fantasmic Dinner Package only a few days earlier. In the end it stormed out for most of the night(after dinner) and we never made it to Fantasmic. We assumed it was cancelled but didnt wait around to see. We probably would eat here again, but only for the FDP, and we would probably all stick to pizza.

KONA CAFE- I saved the best for last! We just LOVE it here! It was our 3rd dinner(5th meal) here in 11 months. Myself, DM & DN got the Terryaki Beef. We all enjoyed this greatly. I have to say this is my favorite dish anywhere. It comes with rice and fried onions. Yummy! My only complaint was they changed the spinach that it used to come with to beans. DH on the other hand liked the beans so, I guess they werent bad...just a matter of preference. DH had the Prime Rib and really enjoyed this as usual. He liked the potatos and beans that came with it. The kids had hot dogs and they liked them. Our server was very friendly and she was great with the kids. We will definitely go out of way to eat here again. And I almost forgot. We got an order of Sticky Wings to go, for lunch and ate them outside. They were great too.

Thanks for the reviews!

We love Hoop Dee Doo, and I am glad you did, too! Such fun!

We will be enjoying our first dinner at Kona (have had lunch there) and are really looking forward to it! We eat only fish and poultry, and those dishes that I have seen on the menu seem fantastic!

Katie, Glad to hear you had a great time!!

DH was like yours in his opinion of CRT. He didn't care much for the food (but ate it all!!). The character interactiion was fabulous! I am glad we did it but don't know if I will "kill" myself again making the ressies!!

HDDR was great. We will definetly do it again.

Kona Cafe, we loved it for breakfast and will have to try it for dinner or lunch next time.
