5 in a room?

Without sounding like a dummy...I have a fairly simple question. My wife and I are kicking around taking our boys to Disney this winter. We have a 6 year old, 3 year old and a 1.75 year old. Does the 1 year old count as a fifth (which would invalidate many reasonably priced resorts)? A pair of double beds would work fine for us (seems like the misses and I hardly ever sleep alone anymore as it is). A couple years ago we stayed at Port Orleans and loved it. Having a third child would make that option no longer viable.

I'm pretty sure most, if not all, resorts will sleep four plus an under three in a crib. A deluxe would be better for this, space wise. As your youngest grows, you could do Port Orleans Riverside with the trundle bed. This is great with younger kids. Now we get two rooms at All Stars, which is usually cheaper than a deluxe.

You baby dosen't count as the 5th person until he turns 3.

Some of the rooms at PO-R has a trundle that pulls out from under one of the double beds that will sleep a young child. You would have to request it when you make your reservations.

I believe that they charge you $15 extra for the trundle. I would try just using the pack and play.

We've stayed at Port Orleans and Coronado Springs with three kids and it was fine! We weren't crowded at all in the room (yes, in bed we were cause my little one thought she had to sleep with DH and me! LOL) We had the baby bed for her - but most nights, she either slept with us or with her sisters. I wouldn't pay extra for a trundle bed - just get the baby bed and yall should be fine too!

Enjoy your stay!!! By the way, her favorite pool was the kiddie pool at Coronado Springs!
