Got the 5 for 2 bonus passes for a part of our group. Staying offsite this winter and will drive to Universal each day. Is there plenty to keep you occupied for 5 seperate days?

Thank you for your advice

I am staying for five days this trip but it is on site. I feel that this is about right for us as we want to enjoy the pool, attractions, citywalk rests, etc, and we are doing a day at seaworld. There is plenty to do and see around the area so, since you have a car, if you finish in three days you shouldn't be bored. Five days off site may be a little much, as you can't just walk back and forth to the hotel and take a break if desired, but it depends on how many attractions you want to do over.

Have stayed on-site for 14 nights and it was wonderful. Obviously did other parks as well as Universal/IOA - but we were there every other day and it was wonderful - couldn't get enough!!:D

Not 5 complete days.
You'll need to mix in SWF and maybe a dinner show like Dixie Stampede or Arabian Nights.
You don't have to stay at any one park for the entire day. Once you learn your way around, you can hit one park early in the morning, go back to your place and rest, then visit another park for the evening.
I'd even visit Wet N' Wild one of those days. It's good to arrive that park early to avoid the long lines on the slides. Do all the major slides with no wait, then crash near the wave pool, where they have a beer stand.

*agrees with above*

5 days is a lot, but if you take go leisurely, you'll be able to absorb 2-4 days with ease, even if you only do half days.

As has been said, check out other local attractions/dinner shows. The Pirates dinner show is fun, as is Dixie Stampede. Plus the food at Dixie Stampede is excellent!

Will you be traveling with kids? We spent 5 days at IOA/US last July and thought it was perfect. The kids did everything they wanted and were able to ride their favorites multiple times. We also spent a good amount of time at the pool every day. We went at a very relaxed pace. One day we spent almost 2 hours in the water gun area of Jurassic Park - my kids were in heaven!

When we went home we felt relaxed instead of exhausted from commando touring.

Just got back from Universal and stayed onsight and we had those bonus 5 day passes. It was nice being able to take your time throughout the parks. We didn't feel like we had to get there right at park opening. We were able to leave for a while and come back. 5 days from open to close would probably be too much, but you don't have to do that with these passes to feel like you are getting your money's worth.

I'm glad to see this information too. We will be staying onsite for 7 days, but going to Seaworld for 2 days. I am definitely planning on leisurely park touring (if that is possible for a former Disney commando!) and letting the kids do what they want even if it means spending 2 hours in a play area. It sounds like this should work out well.

We were 2 adults, no kids, and spent 6 days and that was wonderful! We went out to City Walk every night, slept in the next morning, enjoyed pool time, then hit the parks. We also did Sea World, and we did stay on-site.

We loved this vacation, and I bummed we're only doing 5 days at Universal in October.

Just completed five days with same passes. Four full days and 1 2/3 day. Never got tired of the parks. We left for about 2 hours a day. Once back to the hotel, rest for eats at Citywalk. Never got tired of the rides or the parks. Thrill rides give a thrill each ride. MIB is a Video game on Steroids. Spiderman can't get enough. I swear we never got tired of the parks it was the best vacation we ever had. This was not our first trip to Universal but our fifth. It was great, You won't get tired of the parks.
