5 Days to go and we are all SICK...UGH

We leave in 5 days for Disney and we are all sick. I am not sure if its just Allergies or we are all coming down with a Cold. DD has a runny nose, cough and Sneezing. I started her on a double maitenance so that her Asthma doesnt flare up and will be giving her some Claritin when she gets home from school. DS has a runny nose, low grade fever and a slight cough. Just started him on Claritin **hoping it will help**. I have congested nose, sore throat and a sinus headache. I took Claritin and Advil..not really working. DH right now has been sneezing and a slight runny nose. We live in Mass and I dont know if the Pollen is high or anything...but this just STINKS. I really dont want any of us to be sick..and I dont want the kids to be sick on the plane...I figure if they are already congested or clogged due to allergies or a cold it will make it worse for the ear popping or ear pain during the flight.

Any suggestions????

Hey neighbor....we're in MA too! We are also only 5 days from our Disney vacation...small world!
Anyway, yes the pollen has been crazy this year. It cold be the pollen it could be a cold...but either way my best advice would be lots of vitamon C and rest ....and don't forget positive thinking brings positive results!

I have a history or horrible sinus problems and infections. Last year someone suggested to me that I try using a Neti Pot...I started using one and haven't had any problems, not even a sinus headache **knock on wood**.

I guess it's better to be sick at home before Disney than sick while at Disney! I hope you are all better before you leave and have a wonderful trip!
