That deal was (and still may be) "available" through the Disney Club (it was promoted on their website last fall, and the details said you had to buy it at a
Disney Store). But given my experience, buyer beware!!!
Wanting the package, I started by going to the closest Disney Store, which in my case happens to be in Danbury, CT. The staff there said "normally, we could order this for you, and they'd arrive in about 4 weeks, but since this store is closing in less than two weeks, we can't, go to another Disney store and they can help you."
So, I subsequently went to the enormous Disney Store up on 5th Avenue in Manhttan. Believe it or not, the @%^! that work there told me "
Disneyland tickets are only sold through Disney Stores out West, you can't buy them through stores in the East." That made absolutely no sense given what the staff in Danbury had just told me, and after telling them that, I left in frustration and called up the Disney Club to complain.
They forwarded my call to the
Disney Vacations unit, which FINALLY helped me make progress. They sold me the "5 days for 3" package over the phone, which included the passes, pins and a complimentary breakfast on a day of our choosing in the park. As a "vacation package," we won't be receiving these until about a month before our trip (which is in August), but that's fine.
