5 days at Universal/IOA for price of 2!!!

This is what I bought for July. It really is a good deal!

Can you go to IA and USO in same day or is this two addmisisons?

if it is two addmissions can we use "two days" on one day?

i don't know if that makes sense?

Are there blackout dates?

The info from the site is:

Universal Bonus Pass

Plan ahead and save over $150 versus the cost of five single-day tickets. The Universal Bonus Pass gives you the flexibility of visiting Orlando's two best theme parks anytime during your vacation. This ticket is only available online.

Unlimited park-to-park access for 5 consecutive days, including first day of use
CityWalk Party Pass** to select live entertainment venues, for 5 consecutive days, including first day of use

_____

What I got from that is, you should be able to go to both parks in one day if you want. But since it is for 5 days, you should have plenty of time to see both parks and CityWalk whenever you want.

Yes this is the Bonus Pass.

Dano, this is a pass for both parks and you can enter and re-enter as long as you have a hand stamp and a valid ticket at both parks.

The biggest restriction is that it has to be used for 5 consecutive days, including the first day of use.

There are no blackout dates.

That is some low rate.I think our friends over a WDW better get in the game with lower prices.

Will this offfer expire anytime soon

I just noticed on the Universal Orlando web site that if you pay with Mastercard you can buy a pack of 4 at 89.95 and get the 5th ticket free. This works out to $72 each for 5 days! This would work great for a family of five. You lose the child discount but overall come out winning.

I clicked on the "exclusive offers" link near the bottom of their menu on the left hand side. Anyone know how long you have to activate these passes?

I'd also like to know if there are any limitations for when these tickets can be activated - can they be activated in two or three years?

I purchased them after confirming with guest services that they never expire.

any idea what 5 consecutive days means. Can you skip a day and still use days or must you go for 5 straight days? was thinking go for 2 take a break and go again after a day or so off

Consecutive means that if you start your first day on a Monday, then the pass is good for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Then it is no longer valid. You don't have to use it everyone of those days but you can't use it after the fifth day.

Is this available for any mastercard or does it have to be the Universal one??

Also, if there are only 4 of you going, but you get 5 tickets, could you give one away to a friend who is going later on in the year??

Do these expire ?% days for the price of 2 I am thinking of an advance purchaes for next year.

Debbie7452- thanks so much for posting the buy 4 get 1 free info - this is perfect for us! And yes, E. Jane - they also confirmed to me that there is no expiration date until you activate the first day - so they can be used years from now (as long as you haven't activated them). We're planning to end our WDW vacation with a long MLK w'end at HRH (Fri- Mon) - and there are 5 of us. APs don't work for us as we only go to Fla once a year (or two) - this will give us the freedom of going into the parks on Fri eve and Mon morning for a few hours without feeling like we used a whole day ticket - also included is 5 evenings of admission to City Walk venues - I'm sure the big kids will take advantage of that!
Here was the breakdown for me: buy 4 get 1 free offer (must be charged to Master Card): $359.80; Tax: 23.39; shipping (I wanted to have my tickets in hand): $9.00 (will call window option was $2.00) - Total $392.19 - when divided by 5, that's just under $80 per ticket, including all fees - that's less than I have paid for 2 day/1 free in the past - I feel like I got a bargain !:smooth:

disnurse - that's 5 days from the day you activate it by using it - look at robinrs's post above about power pass - that may be a better deal for you if you need to split up your days.

Anne1 - you do not attach any identity to the ticket until you first use it (need photo ID and signature then) - so it can be given to anybody to use before it's activated - that way if any of my kids can't make the trip, we can always use them another year - or bring someone else and use them - Any mastercard will do - I didn't use a Universal one.

Thanks for your quick reply bjakmom:) :)

Seems too good an offer to miss out on:cool:

...but I need six passes! I hate to have to handle the last pass as a separate transaction with a separate shipping charge. Hmm.

How long is this deal going? We are going in late July and I am not able to buy the tickets quite yet. Will I still be able to get this 5 days for 2 deal say in May?

The tickets should be good until you first use them. If you need an extra ticket and don't want to pay the additional shipping, try doing the eKiosks. It's only a charge of $2 and you can pick up the tickets at any electronic kiosk machine.
