Hi, we are from the UK and will need a 5 day ticket for DL, and I'm not sure if there are any offers out there at the moment, or the best place to buy? We are staying at the HOJO in July, two adults, mother and daughter trip.

The exchange rate isn't great at the moment, but really would prefer to buy the tickets before we arrive, where do you all usually buy them from, can you buy them online and do you get real tickets or would we have to queue to exchange a voucher?

Sorry for so many questions, lol, but have just finalised the itinerary after so many changes, and finally know at last how many days we need on the ticket. :dance3:

We've bought tickets off the DL website several times and it's been really easy. You just buy the tickets on their website and then they'll send you an e-mail with a ticket to print out. Take that print out to the turnstiles/gates (not the ticket booths) and they will exchange it for your "real" ticket right there. Very easy. You can also reprint the ticket if you lose it. If you do this, use an e-mail address that you could easily access from a computer over here so you could reprint if, for some reason, you needed to. Hope that helps! :)

Thanks for the info, so if I do the e-ticket thing that means I can stand in the normal queue for the entrance, is that right? Just don't want to add any delays onto our first morning as it will be busy and every minute counts! ;)

That's right, no delays. You just go straight to the entrance with your printout and they will give you the ticket as you go through the gate.

Oh that's great, thank you, will go for that option then and save the shipping charge to the UK. :thumbsup2

I know Get Away Today, is continuing the buy 3 get 2 free deal on tickets. The sale starts on Tuesday. Disney may follow suit with the extended sale, you may want to wait and see before purchasing.

Oh thanks Amy, will keep an eye on that then, we have a while yet so will hold off and see what happens. :thumbsup2

I just used lastminutetravel.com last week to buy 5 day park hoppers. I saved $150 for all four over getawaytoday. You also pick them up at the Disneyland Ticket Booth.
