5 day bonus pass

Can someone tell me if I purchase the 5 consecutive day bonus pass,

1) Will it have any date restrictions ( I plan on going over New Years)

2) Can they be used as park hoppers ?

The 5 day pass has no date restrictions and they have unlimited park to park access like the Disney hoppers.

It has to be used for 5 consecutive days. The days cannnot be split. Can't use 3 days this year and 2 days next year.
