$5 charge for packages or bags?

I have heard that DVC resorts that receive packages or grocery bag deliveries will now charge $5 per bag to store for you until you arrive. When I called SSR the front desk said yes. When I called the Garden Grocer they said no. I called SSR back and asked for Bell Services who said no.

Anyone know the final answer?

It might depend on what it is and where it is coming from. We had one item shipped from Amazon that we had to have and upon picking it up, there was a note attached stating my account would be charged a $5 handling fee. They may not charge for the groceries? Sorry I cannot answer that.

Any packages that are sent via USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc are processed by Disney's mailing service and are supposed to incur a $5 fee per package (can be higher at the convention resorts that have a business center). However, garden grocer and other grocery delivery services that deliver directly to bell services at the resort do not incur any package fees at this time. We have used both garden grocer and Amazon prime now (not regular prime or Amazon pantry) without any fee at SSR, Poly, and BWV since that fee took effect last year.
