Hey, check out what Mike's been working on....

he's an aspiring writer.....

www.pediascribe.com :)

Feedback would be nice....(and I know you'll be MUCH kinder to him than you would be to me!!) :lmao: :lmao:
Tell Mike; Well done!

Personally, I don't agree with giving away blanket amnesty. However, the right to assemble and debate is what our country is founded on and THAT should never change!!

I'm having trouble keeping up with this thread lately! Just wanted to let you know that our family (of 3) will also be on the San Gervasio tour with your family and Pam's!

DS and I will be on the San Gervasio excursion, too! Looking forward to meeting everyone! :wave2:

I found a grammatical error, does that count as feedback?

Actually, this is a very touchy subject here in Arizona. I think Mike did a great job, made me think (which is a good thing), and had valid points.
Except.......(you had to know it was coming)......many, if not most, of the marchers here in Phoenix were illegal. Or, as the government now likes to say, undocumented.
My question is, since they are not true citizens of the United States, do they have the same rights as we do as citizens? Do they pay taxes? Do they honor our flag? They didn't here.......

I got off track. The article was written as it pertained to the parents complaining about the claim to "community service". Sorry.

Sherry.....just go and buy the Crocs...............Then you can concentrate on new black sandles. (Remember Dave's lament over 1 whole suitcase dedicated to "The Girls' Shoes")

Romance. What's that?

Jim, that's when your toe, accidentally wanders over to Sharon's side of the bed, and brushes against her heel.

(At least that's the way I define it) :rotfl2:

I hear ya....
They say "this will look great on a triangle shaped body" but then they show it on a model with a pencil shaped body! And I don't think ANY of their models are bigger than a size 6.

You must be looking at the same Land's End Cat. I was looking at! :rotfl:

Did I mention that it was 93° here today? I'm roasting! Didn't it just snow here a couple of days ago? It seems like it. Time flies.

I found an online store that uses true plus-size women....not even the models like Emme. At least it gave me an idea of what I'd look like in their swimsuits.
Do we not have an Orca smilie??????

Yeah, I think Mike's article wasn't picking a side either way....It was more about the argument we saw on CNN while on vacation---the angry mom saying that the rally should NOT count in the student's community service. But according to the Maryland standards, it DID fit the criteria.

Mike says YES, he DOES want to know if you've found a grammatical error!

btw, I knew to check the boards b/c Mike said "I got feedback on pediascribe" I said "OH YEAH?" He said "yeah, someone said they thought I'd write about peeing cat litter."

At that point I could hardly breathe I was laughing so hard!

Sounds like a fun time. Had to change after they changed time in port on us. Glad to have so much company :cool1:

Hey! You have three sisters??? You need to share with those of us who were deprived the privilege of having a sister!

And now I'm really excited to meet Liz. If YOU say she's special, then she MUST be!

We've met Liz and had a great time. You will enjoy it too.

You made me burst out laughing....Mike's feedback....
Are you sure about the grammar thing? I don't want to be any more rude than I already have been. It was where he said "if these parents objected to the rally, they should have forbid....". Forbade or forbidden. Sorry, can't help it. I'm anal.

I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I've been skimming through your posts and you seem like an interesting group! My boyfriend and I just booked for this cruise to celebrate our graduations from college! I'm so excited!
