Tori would have had tomorrow off, but Georgia had a "2 day fuel emergency" after the hurricanes. Gov'na Purdue (that's the southern pronounciation!) had Georgia public schools close for 2 days - saved millions of gallons of diesel fuel by not running school buses; but, those 2 days had to be made up so no holiday for us tomorrow!

Gosh, that does seem really early for Spring Break. Our's is 1st week in April.

It's all been speculation at this time. There was discussion of possibly stopping at Grand Cayman or Nassau, but no one knows. I doubt if there would be any full refunds offered after the payment due mark has passed due to any change of itinerary.

And full payment is around March 13 - if they are to change ports, I bet they announce beore then...

Took Mother to Hops yesterday afternoon - so I missed most of the race. Saw the start and tried to tune into the laps on the radio, but there were no local stations carrying the event, more static than announcement. So, still trying to catch up.

I did finally unload the basket of stuff that was left-over from the hurricane. Most went into the garbage, some where it belongs, some is still on the able for sorting. I found all sorts of interesting items, including a $30. dive coupon...No race cars Kikikaren.

If we go to JB;s and you are as explosive with crab, shrimp and other shellfish as we are, you may not want to wear the cruise shirts for dinner. I realized this when I was (finally) catching up on loads of laundry. Some of our blue crab ended up on our sweatshirts..

OK, as Tori would say "that's so NOT fair!" I guess it's a county by county decision as to when/if those 2 days get made up.

Hi eveyone! Checking in at lunch. Irene thanks for the warning about the crab but I don't think anyone was planning to wear our cruise shirts for 2 days in a row. My actual thought was to wear our 10 night shirts or some other Disney related shirt to make it easier to spot everyone but leave the shirts Maria is coordinating for sailing day.

Just in case anyone is wondering....according to www.cruisecal.com... The Magic will be the ONLY ship in port at Costa May on 5/30!! There will be 4 at Cozumel on 5/31. The Magic will be the first to get there and the last to leave

Thanks for the link. Since we get a jump start on the other ships by 1 1/2 hours, maybe DCL will decide to visit Cozumel. That would make the divers happy!

Also if you note on CruiseCAL the May 26th is the only cruise they show the Magic going to Cozumel until June 28th.

Which would be another double dip cruise, wouldn't it? Aren't they every 4 weeks?

Which bodes well that we're going there. Maybe the regular Westerns aren't, but we are. And if we get there early, we'll have first pick at tenders.

Getting BACK on the ship may be a hassle though.
